Had an excellent two night stay. From the moment we arrived and were shown to our room we were welcomed very warmly. All the staff made you feel at home and were very polite. Food was amazing. quality and plentiful, the price for such great food was very reasonable too.

The parking is spot on. It’s easy to find and the key access is simple. The location is central to amenities and walking routes. The room is lovely and totally spotless. Bathroom very modern and lovely crisp towels too. Had a small issue with the TV but spoke to owner Stacey and it was sorted within seconds. You would never know it was a dog friendly place. No trace of dogs ever being in the room. Stacey the owner is delightful. Very happy with this accommodation and will most definitely return. An absolute gem.

The Peak district is just one of the most beautiful areas in the world and the Little Mill is very well situated to provide an opportunity to explore the beauty. As a gastro pub, it provides very good meals made from local produce and one can also get a very good draught beer. The rooms for overnight are excellent, spacious and comfortable.
Walks from the front door are spectacular if one likes raw nature at its most beautiful level and some of them can be quite challenging.

New Mills is a lovely, distinctive town with a system of old viaducts that you can walk under and around. Other walks include the Millenium Walk that passes by the river Goyt and the ruins of an old mill.
The local shops have everything you need for a visit and there are some lovely restaurants we would particularly recommend Sicilian restaurant A Travola.
The town is well located for exploring the southwest area of the Peak District beyond with tors and dales a short drive away.

Lovely place to stay.
Lovely place to stay. There was a real homely and family feel to it. Dogs and children welcome. The staff couldn't do enough to help. The food and drinks were really reasonably priced, portion sizes were huge! Would absolutely stay here again. Such good value for money
