Well-equipped kitchen but knives could be sharper. The location was good for where and what we wanted to visit
- good for hiking and visiting NT or EH sites.

Perfect!! Beautiful room, lovely restaurant, really friendly and helpful staff. Id definitely stay here again. Couldn't fault a thing
A beautiful old small town. Parking will be difficult at busy times but I think here is a park and ride facility. It is the birthplace of the modern olympics - we managed to visit the exhibition about this - on previous stays it has been shut when we were free. The town centre buildings are almost exclusively in local stone and timber framed. The guildhall is a must too - incredible wood carvings. We gave the derelict priory a miss as the charge was not worth it to non-members of English Heritage. Lots of independent shops and places to have refreshments.

An ancient town with a ruined Abbey and a Old anglican church.
The town had lots of shops which were run by local people and an amazing fresh bakery shop which had a huge range of savoury homemade pies.
The high St held a large market along the length of it with a great variety of goods and art and craft products for sale,

This charming town has some fascinating history to explore and the countryside around it is beautiful. Don't miss out on the Priory (English Heritage), the church, museum and the Olympic trail. I walked to the far away end of Wenlock Edge. Beautiful views.

Lovely little place with interesting shops.
Lovely little place with interesting shops. Beautiful houses and buildings to admire. Went on lovely walk through fields and woods. Went primarily to visit The pig and Pie shop which exceeded expectations and is a real bonus in the village. It's a must go to place if you like pies, we took some home and they were absolutely delicious. Highly recommended.😋

We only stayed one night (for a funeral) but I would have been very happy to stay in this hotel to explore Much Wenlock and the surrounding area. Shropshire is not generally recognised as a tourist venue, but it has beautiful hilly countryside; lots of history from the Romans to the Industrial Revolution; and old towns and villages like Much Wenlock with its Priory!

Much Wenlock is a lovely little market town perfect as a base. There are few interesting shops and if you like Indian food highly recommend the Bilash. There is a regular bus service taking you to Shrewsbury or Bridgenorth. We enjoyed our stay and found it very relaxing.

Ideally situated in the centre of Much Wenlock with good parking. Staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming. Our room was spotlessly clean and spacious. The highlight was our three course evening meal. Excellent choice and good portions. We would definitely stay again.
