Although the room was small, it did accommodate 3 single beds for the three of us traveling. It was nice to have a walk-in shower. Great view of the sea and sunset from the dining room. Ability to choose a cooked breakfast (vs buffet) was also a welcome benefit.
Close to Ayr seafront and a few yards from the town center, Mercure Ayr is a comfy hotel with gym. Free WiFi is available throughout. The Brasserie Bar and Restaurant serves drinks, snacks and meals.

Lucy was great help at desk . The hotel has everything you need and sits in a ideal location . We will definitely be back next time for longer .
What a gem. The staff were very friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived. The hotel was attractively decorated and had a lovely beer garden. Breakfast was freshly cooked to order using locally sourced ingredients. The Ayrshire bacon delicious. Evening meals were also cooked to a very high standard.
The staff were exceptionally helpful. A cheerful welcome, very considerate, the excellent breakfast was ready and waiting for when we had ordered it, check out was smilingly efficient. The hotel wasn’t in a great location but every effort had been made to make the hotel look attractive and cared for.
