Crown Lodge Hotel, hotel in March

Crown Lodge Hotel features a fitness centre, garden, a shared lounge and terrace in Wisbech. This 4-star hotel offers room service, a business centre and free WiFi. Guests can make use of a bar.

The location was easy to find/get to, and fine for the particular purpose of our visit. The room (executive, motel type as hotel, itself, appears to have limited availability) was warm, pleasant and comfortable. The breakfast was well varied and really nice. We ate one evening meal which was excellent and the drinks prices quite good, for a hotel. We used the gym which had everything that we wanted to use, and was clean and airy. The staff were really friendly and helpful - same people, pretty much, as on a previous visit, and it is evident that it is more than "just a job" to all of them . . . cleaning staff, included.

Lovely warm comfortable room, very clean and the bed was super comfortable. Breakfast was superb, quality of the bacon and sausage was excellent .. along with all the other items on the breakfast, even had the choice of of small, medium and large, NEVER had this choice at any other B&B, the staff were lovely, from start to finish. Will definitely be staying there again, with no hesitation!…Thank you !!

To far from Cambridge and Ely, we couldn’t find a nice restaurant for our anniversary dinner, there are plenty of places to eat but these are mainly takeout places or pubs with basic pub food. We had booked a room for 3 nights at the causeway guest house but only stayed for 2 due to the damp in the room. I wouldn’t recommend March

March town centre was in upheaval due to repaving etc so was not at its best so can’t comment, however I’d like to return to explore. A good base from which to visit other places of interest, we had a marvellous day out in King’s Lynn and would have happily stayed longer to visit other places. Our accommodation, The Causeway Guest House, provided the perfect base being comfortable, hospitable and excellent value.

The property is situated in a very nice quite location with a beautiful front entrance. We thought we were going into a castle. In all, it’s well situated and a lovely getaway. The Wi-Fi was very fast and it’s got Sky tv to our surprise, You don’t even find that in hotels . We felt very safe as there is a security gate and security cameras around the property.
