We loved everything about our stay, from the welcome, checking in, location, facilities and breakfast options left in the morning. Heather was a fantastic host and such a warm welcome provided, thank you so much for the stay and helping us celebrate our engagement weekend. We had stayed as a celebration and the added drinks/chocolate was a beautiful touch and made our stay even more special. All in all, I would highly recommend here as a place to stay if you are looking for a rural retreat and time away from the hustle and bustle of cities etc. The surrounding countryside is beautiful and the annex is in such a lovely location nearby to the likes of Lissan House and Springhill, both very easy to visit from the annex. We had a lovely family break at Carrick House where we were warmly welcomed by Valerie and George.
The cottage is located in a lovely part of rural Ireland but is close enough to the local town to benefit from shops etc.
The town was bigger and with more to it than we expected.
The town was bigger and with more to it than we expected. Quite a few take-aways and pubs. The centre itself could be busy with traffic, but parking is free. Good walks around the town also. Couple of small supermarkets also
