FAQs about hotels in Luton

A Bedfordshire Getaway

Between 2 of England’s principal motorways, the M1 and A1(M), Luton is best known as an arrival point for cheap flights to London. A low cost carrier hub, Luton Airport is home to the unmistakable orange headquarters of Easyjet.

Booking.com offers hotels on the airport grounds, as well as accommodations including guesthouses in the town nearby, many of which offer free parking. But that isn't the only reason to visit.

Luton once had an important role in hat-making, an industry which has given its name to the Hat Factory performing arts venue. The town’s huge carnival is based in leafy Wardown Park, home of Luton Museum and Art Gallery.

Local crafts from yesteryear are displayed in the discovery center at Stockwood Park. Also here is one of the golf courses surrounding the town, and just east is a spa and swimming pool at the Luton Hoo country house hotel. Another golf course borders the Dunstable Downs to the west, and a third is by Whipsnade Zoo, the largest in the UK.

Luton shopping options include The Mall (previously the Arndale Centre), and the nearby station offers direct trains to London St. Pancras. Available restaurants cover everything from Indian to Caribbean and Malaysian.

Much lower housing cost for a visit to London, if you plan your day well. The cheaper housing + daily train/tube fare is still a bargain. Luton (pronounced Loo ton) airport is delightful. Clean, efficient, with many choices of restaurants after you've checked in. Luton town has a wonderful downtown mall with a wide range of shopping, restaurants, bakeries, etc. Many other restaurants & ATMs in the town. For those not staying in Luton, there is good train service to London & all city airports.

The hotel was fine and well located for the airport just a short walk away and Purple parking. If asked nicely the shuttle driver will drop you outside the hotel. The hotel was very clean and welcoming. The room was comfortable although the bed was rather hard. Breakfast was excellent Staff very helpful.

My home town, lots to do, bars and eateries. Travel is easy, airport, two train stations and taxis galore. Large shopping centre with an indoor market and plenty of external shops along a pedestrian only road ( apart from maintenance vehicles )

The staff were really friendly and helpful.

The staff were really friendly and helpful. They even asked if I managed to park my car. The hotel is very clean and the room doors are very sturdy with hardly any sound from the communal areas. The rooms are very comfortable with everything that you need with plenty of towels. The breakfast was really good they have good quality produce. Thank you to all the team well done .

I booked a family suite through "Booking.com" as I was staying overnight with my 11 year old grandson. When I arrived, I was given a very small double room as I was told that there were no family suites available. I did not want to sleep in the same bed as my Grandson, so we were moved to another double room and a camp bed was provided! No refund was offered. Very disappointing. Also, the breakfast was listed as a buffet breakfast, but one of the hotel staff was serving it!

Old mattresses and other furniture type items in the corridor, people’s shoes, trainers etc in the hallway, no en suite shower in room, the room was cold upon arrival and the garden view that is described in the advertisement was more of an eyesore than a view

The hotel is a 3-minute walk from the train and bus stations, which makes travel from/to London and Luton Airport very easy. It is easy to find. The staff at the reception are friendly and polite. I did not expect luxury. All I needed was a clean quiet room with a comfortable bed and a shower - and I got that. The room was warm, which is a big deal for England, especially this time of the year. It did not have a window, but it worked for me as it meant it was quiet. And it felt safe.

I always stay here when flying to/from Luton airport, over the years i've seen many upgrades in during this time, now i can say this is the best overall. My allocated room was perfect, large and spotlessly clean/immaculate, check-in is easy and efficient. The included breakfast, while not the best i've had, is more than adequate with a choice for every taste. The Hotel is a 5 minute walk from the Train/Bus Stations and the Mall and town centre, perfect location actually.

The check-in process was easy and quick, the hotel and the room were clean and tidy. We had dinner at the hotel and it was an excellent decision, the food was cheap and delicious, the breakfast was great, very varied and quite tasty. It is very close to the airport, so you can even walk there.
