Very good communication with John the owner and a wonderful host. Tea, coffee,alcohol and complimentary dram of whiskey and the most delicious shortbread. What a treat !

The owner was an absolute star and let us stay an extra night when the ferry was cancelled.
View from the front window is amazing and changes all the time.
All of the 'Essence of Harris' diffusers make a great atmosphere.
Cottage is very close to a grocer and 24hr petrol pump.
You can walk to Tabert (we did) but is a bit risky in the dark.
This peaceful, 5 Star rated (by Visit Scotland), B&B has beautiful views over Loch Kindebig and is 5 minutes from Tarbet Ferry Terminal. It offers free Wi-Fi and breakfasts made with local produce.

We had a fantastic experience at this hotel. The location is beautiful and peaceful. The room is spotlessly clean, and very comfortable. The hosts were incredibly welcoming, offering homemade cookies and whisky on arrival, which was such a nice touch. Breakfast was a highlight, with many delicious options to choose from.
Riverside is an apartment located less than 5 km from Tarbert. The property has sea views. The apartment includes 2 bedrooms, a kitchen with a dishwasher and an oven, as well as a coffee machine.

The accommodation was fabulous. Fantastic setting with beautiful scenery. The kitchen had everything you would ever need. Great added touches of flowers, milk and biscuits.

Harris is a beautiful area, we didn’t spend much time in the property. Hosts left a fabulous welcome pack which was appreciated. The property is quirky and compact. Parking space right at the side of the cottage.

This is a spacious and well equipped property with everything you need for a comfortable stay.
It is beautifully situated within walking distance of the beach, and has the most wonderful views...and sunsets.
It is a little way out of Tarbert, so its a good idea to be well stocked up when you arrive (Tesco does deliver tho')
There is a restaurant round the other side of the bay, but it wasn't open for evening meals when we were there. We ate out in the Hotel Hebrides which was lovely and ideal for looking out over the harbour.
