The room was comfortable and had good coffee-making facilities. The shower was fine, but the toiletries available were a little basic (only combined body wash/shampoo in a container that was a little difficult to use) - I would expect more for the price. The location is excellent - right in the middle of town.

Nice village inn with rooms above. Room was clean, good size and comfy. Bar was lively with a good local crowd. Great selection of drinks, nice food and a good menu.

Fantastic location, right in the town centre, and with plenty of parking. The room was spacious, clean and well looked after. We had dinner in the restaurant as well, very nice steak and a good selection of wines.

Loved the style of the place. The room was absolutely charming, perfect for a couple with a dog. Lovely comfortable bed.
The extra little touches like the pillow spray, fine teas, coffees and biscuits made the room special.
The staff were unifomly pleasant and helpful. Would definitely return.
Stayed for a wedding nearby. This was a great choice.
Stayed for a wedding nearby. This was a great choice. Really cosy chic place, lots of period features with on site parking and lots of amenities. Couldn’t fault it, shower was amazing and the restaurant downstairs is also fabulous. Highly recommend it.
This was the best pub hotel break we've ever had. Lovely old pub with low beams and real fires, but also with modernised rooms (with posh coffee machine and nice toiletries). All the staff were patient, knowledgeable and helpful. New head chef is great. We also found the location was perfect for dog walks. Will definitely return here and recommend. Thanks!
Friendly helpful staff, very good service at the bar. Good sized rooms with good amenities, clean with plenty of space. It was important to us that the hotel was dog friendly, and there were local walks for the dogs exercise.
