Host was pleasant Great stay. Nice and clean Great location . Able to do day trips all over Cotswold. So much to see. Great to have a fully equipped kitchen Spacious living area Limited toiletries and no clothes detergent if using the washing machine Take milk if required for tea or coffee. Tea/coffee provided Beds were not comfortable/hard Single small size beds No smart TV Not able to regulate room heating. Set at 18c but it never came on and we are from the sub tropics so would have been good to be able to regulate ourselves. All in all we enjoyed our stay once we set ourselves up. Loved the location

Peter gave us all the information we need to both find the property and access it. Peter was on hand to assist us in anyway, but was not intrusive. The property was spotless and tastefully decorated. We were made to feel very welcome and home from home. In all it was a very good experience.

The Cotswolds are a beautiful area and this was a lovely place to stay for a night. The village itself is tiny but the area around it is very attractive, as is the whole region. We visited a few National Trust properties which were very enjoyable, especially Hidcote Garden, which is only 20 minutes away from Lower Brailes.

Used the lodges as a base for visiting friends in the locality and local Cotswolds attractions eg National Trust properties and antiques centres and garden centres. Ate at various local pubs when couldn't book at the lodges restaurant. Townhouse at Shipston very good. Not much in Lower Brailles itself but good base for wider Cotswold experiences.

Very peaceful area so a very relaxing break.

Very peaceful area so a very relaxing break. The distillery is just a 5 minute drive and nice to go there for tastings. Stow and Bourton on Water aren’t too far away and both very pretty. On the first night we went to the Chequers in Churchill for dinner and highly recommend that if you are happy to drive.
