A warm welcome and the facilities and location were great. Good beer, sky sports and nice atmosphere. Would benefit from cooked meals in the evening and breakfast, but plenty of restaurants and cafes in the locality

The location was really peaceful, the lodge was a great size for our family and I really appreciated x3 bedrooms and x3 bathrooms. The host was really friendly and recommended local things to do. The hot tub on the deck was a great bonus! Morning coffee on the deck, listening to the birds and trees - idyllic! I will definitely be booking here again.

Louth is an interesting old town with very many independent shops and businesses. There's a lively and popular market on 3 days a week. Lots of cafes and restaurants and some characterful pubs - Ye Olde Whyte Swan is recommended. The magnificent church spire is famous and remarkable. Louth makes a good base for cycling, with many quiet country lanes in the adjacent Lincolnshire Wolds, plus the ability to hit the coast in nearby Mablethorpe or Sutton On Sea. Prices are generally reasonable in this part of the country.

    We like Louth a lot.

We like Louth a lot. It has everything there with independent shops, including antiques. There is also a market a couple of days a week. We also like the Turkish restaurant - which is good value for money.

Louth is fine as a town, very easy to reach and set in pleasant countryside of the Lincolnshire Wolds. Easy access to the coastal towns and Caldwell Park motor racing circuit. Be cautious with your review of the Beaumont Hotel, if you score 7 or less you get abusive phone calls from the owner, followed by abusive text messages telling you that you are “Banned”

Louth is a nice, small market town.

Louth is a nice, small market town. There are lots of places to eat covering lots of different cuisines, whether you eat in or grab a take away. The old town around the church has many character properties. The Wheatsheaf was our favourite pub - it does only serve food at lunchtime. The Montebello Tistorante was good. We also had a Chinese takeaway from a restaurant just the other side of Morrisions and that was very good. The market itself was very disappointing, even on a Saturday, although I believe there is a more periodic farmers' market which might be better.
