The view from room 11 was amazing as was the view from the outdoor seating area.
Office staff reacted swiftly when we advised the wall light didn't work, a lamp was put in place of the faulty wall light on our return to the room. 😊

We were lucky with the September sunshine, but Lossie is a great place anyway. The beaches, harbour views, golf course, restaurants, lighthouse, nearby castles and harbours plus the little museum are all very good. Great for plane spotting as well (although the Typhoons can be a little noisy)!

I love Lossiemouth with its great beaches and the whole area is blessed with other wonderful beaches. The scenery is great. Elgin has its historic cathedral and Inverness/Nairn are within reach as is Aberdeen. Forres and Fochabers. Some great ice cream parlours which get busy in the evening. I have eaten at the Salt Cellar, Firth Hotel, Beach Hut, Harbour Lights and had a fish supper from The Galley - all have been good meals. The planes were not flying whilst I was there the last 2 times - missed the Typhoon roar. Wildlife spotting is always a possibility but can be hit and miss. If I could, I would move there today if I could!

Lovely people, beautiful beaches, always clean and tidy with great facilities. Many of the great pubs are closed down but the Steamboat is well worth a visit.

Lossiemouth is worth visting anyway, especially if you like beaches and military aircraft, Lots of interesting places within reach like Findhorn, Cullen and Portsoy. If you like wildlife anywhere along the Moray Firth is ideal for dolphin spotting or shoot off to Troup Head for seabirds. Also worth visiting is Nelsons Tower at Forres. Plus your not far from Aviemore for access to the Cairngorms for Rheindeers and Ospreys at Loch Garten.

The area is beautiful fabulous beaches, the caravan site was so clean and spacious really well set out and our caravan was excellent clean, well equipped, I would say the owner goes beyond what a rental van normally is. Store cup-board items were so well thought of, usually you don’t get provided with these items on rental and have to go purchase.
There are so many areas on the coastline to visit, really well worth the visit.

We are golfers and I would recommend Lossiemouth as a good base to explore all the courses along the Moray coast. There are plenty hidden gems of courses. Ensure to use the Moray Golf ticket and special offers to save some money on the courses.
The local eateries especially the Firth Hotel provide good food at reasonable prices although busy at weekends so require to book.
The property is wonderful with the ability to take in a view that is simply stunning. A wonderful place to stay that was in immaculate order when we arrived and was beautifully appointed. It has been an absolute pleasure to stay at Cliffside. I returned to Lossiemouth having lived here as a child. The view of the lighthouse, beach and golf course as well as the sea is simply magnificent. I shall miss it dearly. If you get chance to stay here, I would recommend you do not hesitate to book!
Dog friendly, extremely clean, comfortable, good parking, great location close to the beach. Shower was far better than I imagined, great pressure and temperature control and much better than most of the hotels I've stayed in.
Wish I didn't need to work and I could have made more of the area.
The site itself is undergoing some major refurbishment and should be really nice once completed.
Seafront location meant superb views. It was a 20 minute walk down to the Harbourside but interesting to see Lossiemouth when walking in. There was a beach cafe and hotel restaurants/bars nearby if you wanted to avoid the walk. Very comfortable beds and stylish bathrooms.
Been here before a couple of times. Older hotel, but the prices are good and the food is excellent.
Very helpful staff.
Wonderful views over the Moray Firth and a nice beach in front of the hotel.
