Loved the layout and style of the room, classic (not old fashioned) and cosy. Sheep in the field the bedroom looked out over and four poster bed were lovely bonuses. Food was tasty (would suggest booking a table in advance) and all staff were friendly. Location was great - easy to get to from the M1, and rooms across the car park from the pub meant a nice and peaceful nights sleep.

Clear communication for self check-in, gorgeous clean, bright property. Lots of little touches such as home made biscuits.
If we were ever back in this area, would definitely stay again but book the room with the hot tub!

HELLO, Excellent staff very friendly and helpful and welcoming. Morning breakfast had options available a Continental breakfast and a hot breakfast. The reception area is spacious and has a sitting area and a bar to order drinks and they had a vending machine for cold drinks and snacks.My room is amazing a spacious room a big bathroom and washing products available. And also provide tea bags and instant coffee sachets for guests to use during their stay. It was my first time staying at a "Holiday Inn Express Hotel"!!. I was very impressed . Thank-you for making my stay memorable.

We often stay here before an early morning flight from EMA and this was such an occasion.
The room is fine.
The pool, hot tub sauna and steam room are great to relax in the afternoon. Just be aware that the pool closes down at 4pm for swimming lessons.
The duvet is much too warm and prevented a good night's sleep.

The Old Tailors Cottage is situated within the small picturesque village of Long Whatton - North West Leicestershire, 5 miles from Loughborough, near East Midlands Airport a few miles from Leicester, Nottingham and Derby. A modernised 2 bedroomed cottage with a quirky twist provided a pleasant experience for a long weekend. Adjacent is a village store and farm shop supplying adequate provisions.
Stayed here night before early flight from East Midands. We normally stay in the airport hotels but from now on we will stay here.
Very friendly staff, front of house manager was excellent and welcoming. Food was very good and rooms are excellent.
