The space was funky and delightful, the facilities (shower, kitchen appliances, wi-fi) worked well, and the location was convenient to the ferry terminal. The views were good and we felt as if we had the place to ourselves.

Jaye is a fabulous host. She connected with me before my arrival and met me when I arrived with all the info I needed and tips about the local restaurants and amenities.
This is a small but pretty village. It is a quiet and comfortable place to stay. There is a pub and a handy and well stocked convenience store. Valley which is two miles away has shops and restaurants. Llanfachraeth is a good base from which to explore Anglesey.

The Holland Hotel where I stayed was lovely and clean.
The Holland Hotel where I stayed was lovely and clean. The room was very nice with a lovely bathroom with bath, shower etc. The room had an ironing board, iron, electric fan, if too warm and a hair dryer. Very well equipped. The breakfast was very nice with a good choice. Really enjoyed my stay there and for an excellent price for the room per night. Would recommend it and well worth it. We also ate at Valley Hotel in Valley. Very nice too.

Overall a great little place to have a nice relaxing and peaceful stay but close enough to places with lots of things to do.
We headed over to Holyhead to walk over to the Marina and a little scenic walk over to the breakwater with the small lighthouse at the end.
We spent a day at Trearddur Bay. Beautiful little beach with some lovely little restaurants for a bite to eat.
We also ventured further over to Beaumaris.
Gorgeous little seaside village with everything needed for the perfect fun packed day out with the kids. We did crabbing off the pier and visited the castle. Definitely worth a visit!
