The apartment was absolutely lovely, with everything we needed. The beds were so comfortable ! Joanna even left a few food and drink goodies for us which was a nice touch.

I grew up in Llanelli, so my perspective may be slightly biased. The people are warm and incredibly friendly, which is one of the town's best features. However, the town itself has unfortunately declined over the years. That said, the surrounding countryside is beautiful, and the coastal path is a great spot for a walk. Llanelli serves as a good base for exploring the lovely areas beyond the town.

Llanelli itself is not the nicest of places, the town centre is very run down. However, where the apartment is it’s a much nicer location, beautiful beachfront property and peaceful too.
There aren’t many places to eat around Llanelli either.

Nice place. Rich culture.
Nice place. Rich culture. Stradey arms very nice staff very warm and helpful. Food excellent and reasonable price. Large Tesco extra not far for any needs but the speed limits were galling. It’s easy to get about but watch the traffic and speed. Not far to visit Cadw venues and free entry with English heritage card.parc Howard house very good and staff very helpful. Interesting pottery and art with a few old toys 🤪

We planned to use Llanelli as a stopping place convenient to visit the Gower and that proved ok. However we were rather disappointed with Llanelli itself. Where we stayed at The Thomas Arms they were unable to provide the facilities we expected, such as breakfast, local ales and evening meals, consequently we wandered around Llanelli town centre but were unable to find any restaurants open. Perhaps becauseI we were so unhappy with our accommodation we are somewhat prejudiced but we would not recommend Llanelli as a place to visit in its current state

I do not beleave the reveiws for the thomas arms as on booking . com are true. because i had stayed at this hotel before be it 10 years or so ago when it was a very good standard. If as i have now done now and looked a Ttip adviser i would never have booked this hotel. There reveiws reflected exactly my experience. I rate it as the worst hotel i have ever stayed in. Never again. They don`t even return calls when messages left on answerphone.

Reception staff were very friendly , efficient and attentative when we arrived.
Room and hotel public areas were very clean and well maintained.
Bar and restaurant staff were very helpful.
Was nice to have a bar open late and the entertainment in the lounge bar was very pleasant.
I have used several hotels in the Llanelli area over the last few years, this is the best yet.
The location was good for me as I wanted to be quite central and close to the beach. The beach was less than 10 minutes away by car and the town centre was about 15 minutes on foot. There is also good parking which is situated behind the hotel. The staff were helpful when asking for directions.
Clean, comfortable, modern apartment, nice quiet location, good for sitting outside, great centralised location for all of South Wales, Welsh cakes on arrival, handy tourist leaflets available too
Staff were wonderful and very helpful. Renovations to the hotel are well thought out. Our room was large and well appointed. Dining was delicious, breakfast had many choices. Parking was great.
Very well located for exploring south wales coast. Modern facilities and most things you need for a short stay, including nice touches like outdoor games for the children.
