The owners were friendly and the location was nice. They have a dog Daisy that was super friendly and I loved when she visited. It was clean and they did have some choices for cold breakfast (protein bars, cereal, pastries, and candy). They also had tea and coffee. There is separate parking on the property which made it easy to access the car if needed.

Morning breakfast was lovely and the staff was friendly. The restaurant was also able to accommodate a large group of family with short notice. We enjoyed the pub in the evenings as well.

Lisburn is a nice town with plenty of shops and places to eat. Most of the attractions are closed this time of year but the local park is well worth a nice walk around and the town itself has a friendly atmosphere. If driving, there is a one way system in place which can be a little confusing to navigate at times but it is well serviced with public transport.

Lisburn is a friendly walkable town close to 2 airports.
Lisburn is a friendly walkable town close to 2 airports. It offers plenty of restaurants, services and shops. It's also a thriving community with churches, schools, hospital, charity shops and parks, including a river walk and castle grounds plus a linen museum. Bigger shops such M&S and B&Q are on the outskirts. But the little proprietary shops are gems.
There are frequent buses and trains to Belfast if you need a city (and nightlife) and some gorgeous parks not far by car. There are plenty of B&Bs in the farmlands around Lisburn but if you stay in Lisburn itself you won't need a car.

Great location for me in pandemic situation as it allowed me to visit my 85 year old mother for the first time in 18 months providing some respite for my sister while allowing me to meet the government guidelines. Comfortable property. Warm and cosy with modern bathroom and kitchen facilities. Private parking was a bonus.
The lodge is exceptionally clean and well kept. The views are tremendous, overlooking Lough Neagh to the west and the Mourn mountains to the south.
Jim cooks a mean full Irish fry to set you up for the day. Other options available.
Jim and Heidi make a great team, are very friendly and welcoming.
Rooms are well equipped and Jim is on call for anything you need.
Location is ideal as a base for exploring the north and west of Northern Ireland with Giants causeway, Bushmills brewery and Game of thrones sites all within easy reach.
The location is excellent, just 2 minutes from shops and restaurants. Free parking is a few mins away but you can park outside the door and pay for parking. The beds were really comfortable. Huge TV in both bedrooms and the main seating area with Netflix, Prime and BBC iPlayer. My kids enjoyed a movie night. Kitchen was well stocked for breakfast with lots of lovely extras. Host was great to deal with. We really enjoyed our stay.
Location was excellent, close to Belfast and walking distance to Lisburn. Beds were very comfy. House was clean and had everything we needed. House was very warm and cozy during a cold snap in late Spring. A nice area which felt very safe and was quiet and peaceful. Bird song in the morning.
The host was so welcoming & hospitable. The apartment was so cosy & fully equipped. We loved the quiet location, yet Lisburn & Belfast were within 20 mins drive. We have visited Belfast many times, but always stayed in or close to the centre. Drumbo View was a pleasant change for us.
Great room at this centrally located hotel. Staff were very helpful and attentive (typical Northern Irish hospitality). Food / breakfast was plentiful and excellent choices including the local Ulster fry if you are up for it!
