Remuera had a lovely homely vibe to it and it was spotlessly clean. Ann Marie was a lovely host and was there to welcome us when we arrived.
She also left a lovely hamper of goodies which made our stay even more special.

Situated in Back, Broad Bay House features 5-star accommodation with private balconies. This beachfront property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi.
A nice wee community. A shop, filling station and pub in the area although a fairly long walk away. Public transport was available but we didn't use it as we had a car which I would say is something you need to see Lewis and Harris properly. Small very friendly café almost across the road which is dog friendly which is well worth a visit.

The Cafe about 100 meter away offers excellent choices of homemade cakes . Sheila and Mark , the owners of the Cafe made us very welcome . The local residents are very friendly . We stopped and chatted to a lady who shared some interesting local stories with us.
