The room was a good size and very pheasant. The bed was comfortable and bathroom was modern . All was very clean. Nice assortment of hot beverage options left in room with a hot water kettle and biscuits.
A little fridge downstairs in the main entrance which contains milk, which is replenished daily
Breakfast served was superb with many options and they are very flexible if you have changes you would like to make. We also took advantage of the Inn for our dinners on a few occasions and the food was delicious.

While the stairs were difficult to climb with heavy luggage, the room was as pictured and quite comfortable. Lovely old hotel and pub. The village was very quaint and exactly what we expected. Staff was welcoming and very friendly.

The Black Horse Hotel is right in the beautiful heart of Grassington. It is attentive to several small details that a traveler might need in their room, including a portable fan, coffee and tea, and DELICIOUS homemade shortbread replenished daily. Every staff person I interacted with was courteous, friendly, and willing to help. They have an extensive offering of traditional and uniquely distinct menu options in their dining area—there's something for everyone. I thoroughly enjoyed the full English breakfast option included with my lodging, which I looked forward to each morning and was sufficient to fuel my day till supper time. The pub is spacious and inviting, and the beer I tried was fantastic. The pub closes at a decent hour, and even when the pub was filled with people, I did not hear any sounds from the pub while in my room, although there was no live music being played during my stay).

Amazing location although a bit tight if you've got a big car! But still wouldn't put us off returning! Lovely warm feeling as you get there, even before entering the building. Staff really friendly and informative. Room beautiful, cozy and well equipped. Overall excellent experience and can't wait to return!
