Everything was fantastic for a last-minute booking (We booked ten minutes prior to arriving). The location is amazing on the cliff overlooking the firth, the room was comfortable and the breakfast was fantastic (We recommend paying for breakfast along with your room. It is worth it!!)

Excellent value for money for a location that's only an hour from Edinburgh.
Breakfast was good with a selection of cereals, fruit & yoghurt, Tea & Coffee, as well as the traditional full English or elements of.
The bedroom was modern and well fitted out and the majority of the wall sockets had USB charging points.
There were additional pillows in the room if you needed them. The mattress was firm but very comfortable.
The bathroom had an overhead shower which lacked a little in power but still got you clean.
The bathroom was notably spotless - no mould at all.
The room was cleaned every day of our stay with fresh towels provided and the tea & coffee condiments topped up.
The bar / restaurant served a variety of good wholesome food in adequate sized portions and all reasonably priced.

This is a very comfortable home in a modern neighbourhood. Brenda was a very accommodating hostess who took care to make our stay the best it could be. She made sure we had just what we liked for breakfast, and made a good recommendation for dinner. This is a great location for visiting Fife, the East Neuk, St. Andrews.
The Old Manor Hotel offers rooms with balconies that overlook the Firth of Forth and Lundin Links Golf Course. There is a restaurant and St. Andrews is 12 miles away.

Not a lot to do in Leven itself, the precinct was pretty drab. The Windsor pub was fine for a blether with the locals. Base pizza was fine.
Nice golf courses and decent food in the clubhouse.
Beach was pretty good, not busy.
Plenty small villages with character along the coast to visit, then the busy St Andrews ,with plenty shops, a bit of a fight for a parking spot.
Will return at some point.

This is clearly a holiday resort with a good beach and two small arcades. The town has a number of closed shops but the facilities for local people appear to be good and I think they have a pride in the place. It is convenient for exploring further along the Fife coast; I visited Anstruther, St Monans and Pittenweem. The people I spoke to were all friendly. It is also on the Fife coastal path. It is also easy to access the road back to Edinburgh.

This was a nostalgic trip.
This was a nostalgic trip. It would make a family holiday as beach is beautiful and you can walk for miles to East Neuk and further. (Fife Coastal Path). Waterworld, Cinema and Letham Glen(Park). It is still recovering as everywhere is at the moment but hopefully get back to normal. Easy to get to St. Andrews and Dundee and Edinburgh(1 hour).

Leven has a nice beach and 2 good good courses.
Leven has a nice beach and 2 good good courses. There are several places to eat and it has good transport links for Kirkcakdy, Edinburgh, Dundee and St Andrews. There is a good bus service and several shops. The Fire Coastal Path runs through Leven and is popular with dog walkers. Base (just off the High Street) does a good steak pie and the Caledonian Hotel is good for a drink and also serves food.
Their hospitality started us right, as we felt we had inconvenienced them due to our late check-in...our flight was delayed, luggage was delayed, and rental service was backed up...each by a minimum of 1 hour. We had a 7 night trip planned for Scotland using 6 different B&Bs/Hotels, this had the best breakfast by far. I enjoyed the porridge, especially with the shot of whiskey, although my husband had some of it. He enjoyed the Full Scottish...again he said the best he had. The view was amazing, our room looked out over the bay.
