The location is perfect, close to everything. The view is nice, we had a nice sea view. The room was simple, but ok.

The breakfast options were plentiful. The service and hospitality of the staff was excellent. Mickey was very informative and helpful with some reassurance about driving directions.
A lovely town with plenty of nice restaurants and cafes.
A lovely town with plenty of nice restaurants and cafes. Lerwick and Stouts Court apartments are the perfect base for visits to all areas of the Shetland Islands. Local busses do run but I would say that a car makes it much easier if you plan to visit some of the best and somewhat remote places eg Eshaness, Scalloway, Bressay and other islands.
A visit to the excellent Shetland Museum is highly recommended. The exhibits on display are truly exceptional and the staff are wonderful.

I liked the fact that there was a combination of tourist shops with lots of local crafts to look at but there was also the Mareel Centre where we saw a film and joined a quiz night which was really good fun to meet some locals who were very friendly! We also really enjoyed the Showa coffee shop on the corner of St Magnus Street where they sell the most incredible pancakes...so soft and delicious it was like eating clouds. The Museum is also really worth a visit for those who like to learn about the history of the area and the people who lived there. I also really rate the Lerwick Tourist Information Centre, really knowledgeable staff who tell you of their experiences of the attractions and how to best enjoy them. I can also recommend the excellent Da Harbour Fish and Chip shop. All orders are cooked fresh so it can take a little while but the result is worth waiting for. I really like Lerwick and would happily go again and stay longer.

We went to Shetland for experiencing the nature, and were (of course) not disappointed. We walked the St. Ninians Circular, and we went to Mousa Broch with The Mousa Boat. We also drove to Unst and took the circular walk in Hermaness National Nature Reserve where we could see the norternmost lighthouse in Great Britain - Mucle Flugga. I especially recommend that one. Utterly fantastic nature and easy to walk, about 7 km. In Lerwick we mainly went out for dinner, coffee and a little bit of shopping. We had good food everywhere, but especially the burger at The Dowry and the meal at Gurkha (nepalese restaurant). Also The Peerie Café is good for coffee and a sweat treat.

Very cosy BnB in Lerwick, comfortable large rooms. We were very positively surprised that breakfast was included in the price as booking.com said otherwise. Walking distance to the harbour and the best restaurants in town (make sure to book ahead!).
The hotel is under renovation and should not be accepting guests.the building is surrounded by scaffold . Has no facilities and no working reception .we refused to stay . This hotel is not fit for purpose and should not be on booking .coms list.
