Perfect location for walking in to Chichester town centre or to their theatre, residential parking on the street, quiet safe neighbourhood to leave the car and plenty of parking space available. Lovely host to welcome us, great communication ahead of our visit so we knew exactly what to do on arrival. Beautiful garden. Would happily stay here again.

Such a great spot to spend a weekend. The Ark had everything we needed all of which was high standard. The lazy continental breakfast provided by Steph sitting on the pontoon watching the birds and boats was a particular highlight. A great spot to walk from too !

We stayed one night as we had tickets for the Chichester theatre and chose The Crab & Lobster as it looked conveniently situated. We were not disappointed. Was exceptionally quiet after the restaurant/pub revellers had left. We stayed in The Cottage attached to the main building . Beautifully decorated, clean, well appointed. The history of the pub and surrounding area is fascinating. We ate in Chichester so cannot comment on the restaurant but breakfast was outstanding.
Loved it and will visit again. Next time for a couple of nights!

I love this hotel, we booked a double room and were very kindly upgraded to the cottage. The staff are wonderful and the location is the very best. Choose this hotel if you appreciate a centrally located and well appointed place to rest, that provides great service.

Breakfast was good . Building interesting. Location and grounds superb.
The house was very clean and tidy in and out. There were some toys at the living room that my kids really loved. Also a piano to play with. WiFi was working perfect. Finding some essentials including sunflower oil, washing up liquid, some sweets made us smile. Tissues, hand wash and clean towels were in both the toilets. Kitchen and dining facility were excellent including the oven, microwave and the equipments. On top of everything the garden was so beautiful and had a very good impression on us. Overall it’s been an excellent experience staying in this house.
