The atmosphere inside was sooo cosy, and everything was set up with the comfort and convenience of guests in mind. We had our fairly large dog with us and were mostly just wanting to walk around the countryside with her, and our host Lana was very knowledgeable about the local area and pubs. The breakfasts she cooked were lovely too! It was a perfect cosy stay for a couple.

Firstly a big thankyou to Stuart and Kathryne for the way they looked after us during our two night break at the Westgate Manor- From being welcomed at the front door when we arrived to waving us goodbye, they were the perfect hosts.
The homecooked meals were a real treat, from the slow cooked beef in the evening, to the lovely full English breakfast, you could tell they were freshly prepared and extremely well cooked. Kathryne also made my wife a bacon butty for breakfast when my wife was not very hungry
The bedroom was a delight , four poster bed a very comfortable mattress and fluffy pillows to matching good quality antique furniture, underfloor heating in the well equipped bathroom even remote controlled lighting. Appreciated the fresh milk in the little fridge for our morning cuppa
After our evening meals we were encouraged to sit in the comfortable lounge with a drink from the bar in front of the cosy log fire
I'm really happy with Lanehead, I couldn't recommend it more...
I'm really happy with Lanehead, I couldn't recommend it more. The location was isolated but easy to find. Really felt going off-grid did me good, even though the wi-fi was superb and I got a lot of remote working done!
