The accommodations were every bit as lovely as they are in the photos. The bed was very comfortable, the room spacious, the hot water was plentiful. We had asked for a quiet room away from their event rooms (many weddings and celebrations happen there all week long), and they delivered. Breakfast was great: the food was high quality and diverse. The servers were attentive to our tables for tea/coffee refills. The staff are all really nice people. They make the place, in my opinion.

It is a shame that many private retailers close on a Monday. The shops are individual and unique. The town has a wonderful butcher's shop. All charity shops are worth a visit, beautiful stock and well presented.
It is an interesting town, with an upper and lower section. The streets are well kept and often have lovely floral displays.
There are a wealth of eateries and cafés. The catholic and methodist churches are worth a visit. The heath provides a break from the town with stunning trees.

It's a beautiful area.
It's a beautiful area. There are nature reserves nearby, and one great pub (Bears Paw). It's a serene base of operations for trips to Manchester and Chester. The don't miss thing is Gauntlet Birds of Prey center, 2 miles down the road. We had two of their bird flying experiences (owls and other raptors)and it was a splendid time.

This review pertains to the village of 'Mobberley' as we stayed in the 'Hinton' Bed and Breakfast, which is excellent !
Mobberley is a small village with a few essential shops, It has two excellent pubs the 'The Bulls Head' and the 'Roebuck Inn ' it may have other pubs but we found these two a short ten minute walks from our Bed and Breakfast location.
The 'Bulls Head' offers a fine selection of beer and good food, it often has live music and depending on which evening you visit it could be Pie Night or Whisky Night, well worth a look on their web site for further details.

Tatton park literally 5 mins walk from the Rose and Crown.
Historic plaques on the street tell you of the history of the buildings.

The pub is very nice. Food decent. Especially liked the music choices which were not too loud but enjoyable. The serving staff were very nice too.

We were only staying overnight but had a few hours to walk round the centre of Knutsford. It is very old, picturesque, some lovely independent shops. It backs onto Tatton Park and has a central train station.

Breakfast was lovely and the hotel accommodated my gluten free diet and provided gluten free bread. I had snack food which was lovely. Room had everything I needed, was clean, staff were lovely, I would definitely stay again, thank you for a thoroughly enjoyable stay. Hotel is located in an excellent location in the heart of Knutsford Town Centre with lovely boutiques, shops, cafe's and a lovely park nearby.
Really lovely and cute place to stay. So much bigger than the photos show, spacious for two. Great kitchen area for making meals. Comfy bed. Perfect location for event at Tatton Park. Short work into Knutsford which is a cute village with lots of things to do.
Cottons is in a great location and it’s easy to access Knutsford town centre; a quick taxi ride or 30 min walk. They also have some really wonderful people working there - Jessica on reception and the breakfast girls are lovely!
