There was no fridge, so the proprietors very kindly stored our cold things in their own fridge. All the staff were very kind and friendly. The meals and drinks were great and it was a lovely relaxed welcoming stay.
The room and bathroom were quite large and we could spread out with no problems.

The breakfast basket was excellent/-and not all for breakfast. The setting was excellent—quiet, private, nice views. The host was quite responsive—at one point when we had a wifi question, the host’s son came over and set up the system, as well as tipping us to a lovely but low-key trail along the Devon River by the falls to the Rumbling Bridge.

There is not much to do in Kinross.
There is not much to do in Kinross. We went to the lake and wanted to visit the castle but it was closed due to a private event.
Some shops are closed or are closing in the town.
The small jetty looks abandoned and run down. It might have been nice to walk or cycle around the loch. However, for us 1 day was sufficient time.
We really liked the small cafe Reminisce. Lovely team.

It's a small town but it has everything.
It's a small town but it has everything. Loch Leven is a gem and the surrounding countryside very beautiful. The drives to Perth and Scone Palace as well as to Stirling are gorgeous. It's within half and hour of Edinborough and 45 minutes of Glasgow.
We ate at our hotel, the Kirklands which has a great restaurant so can't say anything about the other places.

The hotel is well positioned in a pleasant small town close to Loch Leven & good for exploring the area or for a stop off in transit.
Our room was spacious & comfortable, with a good sized shower room.
Breakfast is Cooked to order & was excellent. The dinner was also very good.
All staff were friendly & attentive.
Really good location if meeting friends in Kinross and no way back to your home location. Easy to access with your own back door to the property. Very similar to a hotel room with tea/coffee making facilities and a fridge. Baynes bakers just a walk away and open early.
Great hotel with an excellent bar. Very friendly staff and helpful in every possible way. The location is perfect and the people in Kinross are lovely.
