Clean and comfortable, very spacious. Easy to get into Oxford on the bus. Driveway big enough for several cars. Lots of pots and pans for cooking.
Set 7.4 km from University of Oxford, Panorama House, Luxury 2-Bedroom Apartment 2 offers accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. This apartment is 29 km from Notley Abbey.
It seemed a decent place. There was a lot of traffic at busy times, but that is to be expected so close to a city.
Our accommodation was within a residential area, which was quiet and pleasant.
Good supermarket not too far by car. Easy access to Oxford and handy for Blenheim Palace.
Park and Ride also available into Oxford.

The hotel is situated on a main road about 3 miles out of Kidlington- no public transport so car needed. But it is also about 3 miles from Woodstock, at a cheaper price than many of their hotels, with guaranteed easy parking. Oxford is about 8 miles and the efficient Park and Ride about 5 miles- but beware of major road works at present (March 2024)

We went to the battle of the proms in Blenheim.
We went to the battle of the proms in Blenheim. The gig was Great. Weather was disappointing a couple of things got cancelled due to weather conditions. But as a whole the night was great very well organised. Blenheim grounds looked very nice . We skipped the tour of the palace due to price would have been around £140 for the four of us. . Went for meal at a local pub which was very nice.

For our trip the location was very good - easy to access Oxford and Blenheim palace. The property was easy to find with parking on site and shops and pubs nearby. It was a very cosy and comfortable base for a weekend away with my mum and sister. A very good alternative to a hotel. tastefully furnished and a good sized kitchen. I'd definitely book this property again.
5* customer service. Sharna was a credit to Sturdys Castle. After an initial issue with our accommodation, no fault of the hotel, she ensured our stay was the best it could be. The food in the restaurant was excellent, we chose not to try anywhere else, as it was so delicious!
