It was OK for stay we had planned. We were going to a horse show at Blair Athol. The on site shop was very good.

The ability to be able to eat some meals at our accommodation comfortably was good. As too was the accommodation itself which had pretty much everything you could want for a short stay. Lovely views and well managed.
This is a great location for outdoor activities. Two of our group climbed Ben Lawers, and two did open water swimming. It is also a fab location for cycling.
The facilities are all to high standard.
Dinner in the restaurant was excellent, and when asked they also provided vegan options.
Do look out for evidence of beavers along the river Tay.

Kenmore is located at the top of Loch Tay, which offers you breathtaking views over the lake, you have the option to go on beautiful walks to Taymouth Castle or through the forest along the lake. Beautiful place, away from all the noise of everyday life - very quiet and relaxed place. I definitely recommend this to everyone who is looking for a holiday to unwind and relax.
You do need a car, I don't think there is any public transport.
I used to travel to Kenmore every year to stay at the old campsite when I was growing up. Myself and fiancée have been back a few times staying in the hotel annex. First time staying in the lodges. It was amazing. So comfortable, spacious, clean and tidy with lots of nostalgia.
Only issue was hot tub emptied/refilled on our second day which stopped us being able to use it. Apart from that, perfect first holiday with our daughter.
Great location next to the beach at Kenmore on Loch Tay. Great to see sights in the area and only a short drive from both Killin and Aberfeldy. The coal fire was a nice touch.
