Our hosts were proactive, gave us directions before we needed them. The location and views are spectacular, and we were lucky to have had dry sunny weather during our stay. It is a spacious cottage, so glad they didn't try and cram an extra bedroom in; instead there is a massive upstairs lounge area with great views.
Didn't use the cooking facilities but it had a clean, well appointed kitchen; coffee & tea & milk for us on arrival were a nice touch.

Great location, easy to find and clear instructions on arrival to access my room. Friendly and helpful information on use of kitchen facilities, really nice to have a well stocked kitchen with snacks and tea / coffee. I was able to borrow an iron on request. Simple but comfortable and clean accommodation which was great value for money.

Great stay for the price and location. We were only there very briefly for an overnight stop and arrived to late for dinner. They graciously allowed us to buy a drink from the bar and use the microwave.

The room was pleasant, clean and functional with a good selection of channels on the TV. Breakfast was an additional cost to the room rate - around £12 which seemed fair - however as I normally only have a very light breakfast I did not use this option. I didn't use the restaurant. The location was perfect for my needs. The staff I met were pleasant and helpful and they fulfilled a variety of roles.

The Pittodrie house was a unique stay, and provided a great backdrop for our 25th wedding anniversary trip. The views out our room windows were amazing! We saw so many birds, rabbits, and even a deer. The staff were friendly and kind. I loved how the person in charge of cleaning our room kept tabs on when we left for breakfast- and would clean our room while we were gone- so we would return to a lovely clean and tidy room.

The location is stunning!! We came up for a wedding at manor house in invenurie and stayed at Thainstone House for 3 nights. Thought the room was nice but not as deluxe as I was expecting. Had to have the curtains shut at all times as the back of the kitchen was outside our window. The bed was comfortable though.
