Very comfy. Room quiet, warm and immaculately clean. Great to have use of fully equipped communal kitchen (and Aldi very closeby). There is a large communal lounge too with comfy sofas, very homely. Looks newly decorated.
No staff when I checked in in the evening, but it didn't matter as my key and wifi password were waiting for me at front desk. Friendlt person on desk when I checked out in the morning.
Great value. Perfect for somewhere handy for work visit.

The Ardennan House Hotel is a charming Scottish family-run hotel which has been renovated to a nice standard with modern, comfortable furnishings.

Nice dinner menu, breakfast was good, staff were very pleasant and helpful. This location was ideal for my intended purpose as I was able to visit various locations that made the Ardennan House Hotel centrally located. It's ease to access from the A96 and Inverurie was perfect.
We were there on a fishing break. I am a professional fly casting instructor and there are many good fisheries in the area. Inverurie is a fantastic base fir fishing all of them.
Brilliant Indian restaurants to eat at, great place.

We stayed in Inverurie as we were attending a wedding close by in Old Meldrum. Inverurie is a small place with one main road which pretty much has everything you need on it. The Market Square was busy on the Saturday with various stalls selling various items. We just ate in Hotel where we were staying.

It is a very pretty town.
It is a very pretty town. They have a market once a fortnight, which sadly I missed. There are many beautiful walks around the town and along the river, with lots of birds, wild flowers and trees to see. It has a good array of shops, and a fantastic deli- the Kilted Frog.

A beautiful wee town.
A beautiful wee town. Everyone we interacted with was friendly and pleasant. We unfortunately went to Brewdog for a meal which was really really bad, bad food, shoddy service, overpriced, place has delusions of competence.

Inverurie high street is a traditional high street, lots of independent shops, lots of variety, big enough to spend an afternoon walking round all the shops. Browsed in sinclairs jewellery shop, bought from craigdon mountain sports- very friendly informative and nothing too much trouble for these folk ! Recommended for hiking gear and hubby presents !
We also walked up a splendid wee hill with amazing views called tap o north, a jaunt of about half and hour away by car, well worth the effort.
For eats, we chose the ashvale, and the food didn’t disappoint.

My sister lives nearby and I have been coming here for over 30 years. Its a lovely place and inb recent time it has expanded a lot. It not the place to come for fancy night life. You would come here for great scenery and a base to travel to local places of interest.
It has a Morrisons and a few other big ticket stores as well.

The hosts live on-site at the farmhouse and are friendly and hospitable. The cottage is very clean, warm and comfortable. We loved that the cows came to say hello at the kitchen window! There are good woodland walks close by, and it's an easy drive to Inverurie for supermarkets etc. Recommend arriving in daylight if possible as easier to find.
Lovely staff - couldn't be more accommodating - moved rooms when I'd been placed in a twin instead of of a double- went the extra mile - pleasant and hardworking every single one of them that I met, all chatty and pleasant, a credit to the hotel.
The room was tastefully decorated, the size was pretty good as well. The bathroom was okay too.
The food was of a decent standard and the menu was extensive.
The hotel itself was easy to find and there was quite a bit of parking.
Check in was quick and easy. Room size was very good. Staff attentive and friendly. Freshly cooked breakfast which was excellent. No issue’s whatsoever with this hotel.
Stayed there quite a few times on business trips and rooms are always clean/comfortable. Great value as ever for money and always stay there when in Inverurie.
