The staff team were very friendly and helpful. We were attending a wedding at the venue so accommodation on site was key. The hotel communal spaces were beautiful and the grounds well kept. Parking is straightforward and easy. Breakfast was included and was lovely on both days.

On arrival we were informed that we had the best room with a view as booked only to be told that there was a mistake with booking. Com.
So was given a room with dirty walls one towel for two people and a view of a car park plus back of pubs and other building. Not very happy would not recommend self check in information said if you needed anything dial 0 but no phone what a joke.

I was very disappointed with this hotel which I had frequented many times in previous years and enjoyed. That was before 2020 I admit as after thar my nephew moved to Huddersfield and I stayed with him.
.
The old Central Lodge provided an EXCELLENBT breakfast. Now there is absolutely nothing.
The complicated and user unfriendly admin for entrance and registering with the hotel and charging for use of their own car park were additional unsatisfactory features in mv view,.
The room was pretty good and and well maintained.,

Wild moorland a short bus trip away.
Wild moorland a short bus trip away. Town full of interesting Victorian architecture. Magnificent mosque just near property. Warm and welcoming parish church. Went to inspiring Mass in 1830's St Patrick's.Canals and waterways at nearby Mirfield.Good base for visiting much of Yorkshire by train. Happy faces - I presume not just because of the fine weather.

Amazing place to stay beautiful location and very clean and immaculate better than a 5* hotel standards were high. Only only flaw and I think this is a problem
With booking.com that they need to be very clear on there page about deposit required by the host once booked otherwise you lose your money . This is in the fine print which like me many people do no read . But the stay was superb and will be booking again .

The house is perfect.
The house is perfect. Be ready for stairs though as it has 3 levels. Had everything you needed (except a potato masher lol). Cleanliness 100%. Parking was plenty adequate. Location is perfect, not too much of a walk to town.
TV in each bedroom is a bonus.
I loved staying there, we were on a trip, we had stay overs in Scotland, London, Liverpool and Huddersfield. Huddersfield was by far the best of the accommodation. I could easily live there.
Would 100% recommend this to other travelers.

The staff at Cedar Court Huddersfield are extremely professional and helpful in all departments.
Good breakfast choice with cooked options if you ask.
Evening food is delicious and nicely presented
Good choice of gluten free options.
Nightmare getting AWAY from a John Smiths Stadium concert!
Gridlocked around the stadium for 2-3 hours.
Many taxi firms refuse to do pick ups at this time.
Seek refuge in The Yorkshire Rose pub next to the Stadium.
Hope Hotel could put on a return transfer somehow!
First concert right next to a hillside covered in trees!
Beautiful Yorkshire countryside with lots to see and do so close by.

A lovely location for an overnight stop over. I stay in hotels, all over the country, every week and the Woodman rates very highly among the many places I stay at. Rooms are very comfortable and well priced. The food is of a high standard and the staff are great. I will always use the Woodman if I need to stay in the vicinity in the future.
Lovely little studio for 2 people. The room was perfect for a short stay, with everything needed for self catering. The park at the top of the road was beautiful and the studio was only a 10 minute drive from Huddersfield town centre. The host was lovely and everything was clean and well maintained.
The double room on the first floor was spectacular, with a huge bathroom. The staff was very helpful when there was a problem with one of our rooms (the problem was not the hotel's fault). Beautiful area of Huddersfield and great value for money. We really enjoyed our experience here.
Stay here every time I go to Huddersfield location is perfect for M62, hotel is clean, beds are so comfy, facilities inthe room are just what's needed for a short stay.
Staff are polite, friendly and helpful.
