The lodge is a wonderful place to stay. Just on the outskirts of Chester and only 20 minutes drive from Cheshire Oaks. The facilities are great and the owner communicated all the information required to make it a hassle-free stay. Would love to come back again in the summer rather than mid-November.

Good value with breakfast included in the price. The members of staff were friendly and efficient. Location good for city centre and river, Romm with en suite good sixe and spotlessly clean.

I didn't get chance to explore the immediate area but it did seem to be a very pleasant and safe part of the city and very close to all the amenities of Chester itself. As a single traveller I felt very safe and secure during my stay.
