The Vineyard Hotel, hotel in Horsham

Located within 31 km of Preston Park and 32 km of Box Hill, The Vineyard Hotel provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Horsham.

I had 3 rooms. The 2 on the ground floor (101 and 102 i think) were superb. The third room (a twin) for my aunty was in the eaves on the 3rd floor and much inferior - despite being the same price as one of our ground floor rooms. Strange? Anyway, because she is slightly disabled and would not have been able to get into the bath i asked for a switch which was quickly accommodated - so thank you!

The Inn On The Green, hotel in Horsham

This 15th-century inn offers B&B accommodation, free wireless internet and a gastro-pub restaurant serving good home-cooked food, all in the lovely village of Ockley.

It's a friendly local pub but in need of some TLC. There were screw heads protruding from a carpet grip on the floor of my room and I took a chunk out of my foot on one of them.

Stay with Robin, hotel in Horsham

Set in Dorking in the Surrey region, Stay with Robin offers accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking.

Our Host Robin made us feel very much at home. His house is lovely and very comfortable. The bedroom and bathroom were ideal for an overnight stay with lots of hot water with a bath and shower (over it). Fabulous countryside surrounding the house too and a very good breakfast the following morning.

We had a delightful break in Lazy Daze cottage. It was well equipped, beautifully maintained with clean and comfortable rooms. We enjoyed fabulous, although muddy walks in all directions, fortunately there was a great entrance area for our muddy boots and coats. Maybe add a few board games and a pack or two of playing cards. Otherwise pretty perfect in every way. Highly recommend the Tipsy Fox pub for a post walk meal and beverage. Very welcoming and friendly staff.

This property is in a small village called Littleworth which is about 6 miles from Horsham itself. We travelled with our dog and just wanted a one night stay in dog friendly accommodation. The Windmill was perfect, a lovely old pub with good facilities and nice food which was reasonably priced. Our dog was welcomed and there was a public footpath across the road with a very nice walk through fields towards Charterhouse monastery. The location, whilst not in the centre of Horsham was nevertheless ideal for our purposes.

Horsham is a lovely historic town and a pleasure to walk around. An abundance of shops and restaurants. Convenient location for reaching London by train. Also close to Brighton if you have a car. Maybe a biased opinion as I lived there for 13 years!

Our experience at Springfields was fantastic all due to the lovely lady who was managing the hotel. She was so friendly and helpful with evermore where to fit in a full car park to printing off our flight boarding passes. Our room was well appointed and the location excellent being close to restaurants and shops as well as the beautiful walking space of Horsham Oark. Breakfast was also excellent.
