We chose this property because it was close to our friend who lives in Holywood. The area is beautiful and the property was lovely, comfortable and a fun place to stay. Our host Tim was very amiable and a great conversationalist. We especially loved meeting all the other travelers in the breakfast room. We definitely plan to return!

We stayed here over the Christmas period and the property was in a brilliant location. The house is really comfortable, clean and has everything you need. The owners were very communicative and really helpful. Would highly recommend and we will probably stay here again!

Holywood's an affluent town on the coast, close to Belfast City Airport. The town has some great bars and restaurants and being coastal means there's lovely walks to nearby towns and villages.

Beautiful beach walk a few minutes from our guest house. Lovely shops in the high street with a few cafes and resutarants to choose from.. Close to the Folk and Transport Museum. Only 20 minutes drive from Belfast City Centre one direction and half an hour from Bangor the other direction. Not sure about local transport as we had the car. Indian Ocean Restuarant was excellent.

Comfortable and we welcoming I wanted a good night's rest before travelling onwards. My sat nav took me to another house up the street instead of to the hotel. The staff have information about getting alternative food deliveries and can provide good quality snacks. I had a good quiet stay.

Lovely town and we walked a section of the coast. We ate at ‘Coast’ which was superb and good value and menu.
Would strongly recommend Gweebarra for its luxurious BnB accommodation and a top host in Tim. Excellent breakfast and tea and coffee on tap. Quiet and calm location Please note this.

Hollywood is a good location, near to both Belfast and Bangor for those travelling along the coastline. The choice of shops is good, particularly for tea/coffee and breakfast in the mornings. The Dirty Duck is a great location for a drink or a bite to eat too. There’s a train station which seems to have a fairly regular service in either direction too. The view across the lough is stunning on a clear day. Peaceful, calm atmosphere in town. We enjoyed it.

The location is excellent, overlooking the sea, with a constant procession of shipping to and from the docks. Plane spotters will also appreciate being under the flight path to Belfast City Airport, although there aren’t many fights and none after about 21.00.
Holywood is an upmarket suburb of Belfast with plenty of places to eat and drink and the apartment is a short walk away from the railway station with regular trains to the city centre and to Bangor.
The apartment was very comfortable.
There were extra little touches which made all the difference....coffee pods, jams, biscuits but also a lovely bottle of Prosecco.
Communication with our host was excellent.
Parking immediately outside the apartment.
Close to all amenities.
Holywood has lots to offer in terms of dining.
Tim is a wonderful host with a beautiful home in a quiet suburb outside Belfast; we stayed in a twin room on the ground floor that was spacious & well appointed. The bathroom was large and as luxurious as you would find in any 5 star hotel.
Location & facilities. The location is great for everything Holywood; moments from the high street, a couple of minutes from the station, yet quiet. There’s everything you need for a comfortable stay in the property.
Really nicely set up bijou property in a great location. Super comfy beds and hotel quality bedlinen made it feel luxurious. Well equipped and thoughtfully set out for a very comfy stay.
