Beautiful location and it was great to have an outdoor seating area. The BBQ etc would be good if you were staying for a few days and had a car for getting supplies. We were walking so used the handy microwave.
Good supplies of coffee tea and plentiful milk.

The space was funky and delightful, the facilities (shower, kitchen appliances, wi-fi) worked well, and the location was convenient to the ferry terminal. The views were good and we felt as if we had the place to ourselves.

Holy head is a busy Central Town with lots of takeaways and pubs, making it easy in an evening of you don't want to cook. If you travel around the coast, there are some beautiful beaches and lovely places to eat. Oyster catcher is highly recommended.

Holyhead is very run down and could do with an injection of money to spruce it up.
Ended up at The Chippy both nights as not many places to eat and what there was were fully booked. There is a lovely café where the RNLI is situated which opens early on a Sunday morning. Good for a stopover if travelling on the ferry.

What gem of a small, beautiful town.
What gem of a small, beautiful town. The people I met there were all so friendly. The best thing I enjoyed most was a two hour walk through the parkland with exquisite views. I went from walking along the harbor to walking along the bluffs overlooking the coast. The train/ferry station is within walking distance to the town center and beyond. Taxis are hard to come by, but I didn’t need one. I only stayed in Holyhead one night, but two nights would be ideal.

The property looked great, in a great location.
The property looked great, in a great location. The Garden Room is suitable as an extra bedroom for the main house, but was far too small with only limited facilities for an independent stay of more that one night.

Such a lovely and convenient place to stay when catching the ferry from Holyhead. Very pretty area with a sandy beach just a few hundred yards away. Nice surf - beach like feel to the hotel which has been recently refurbished and is clean, well presented and run well. Could not fault it !!!
Very well located across from Ferry ⛴️ terminal. We were also able to drop our rental car at same area.. highly recommend The Edinburgh hotel.
Staff were so friendly.
No noise from Bar area.
Breakfast was great.
We were also lucky to get downstairs room..
A perfect base for getting into Holyhead and the ferry but could be also a base for walks around the area. Nice breakfast to start the day. Beautiful views across Anglesey. Small but cosy and comfortable.
