We visited Holbeach to meet up with family for a birthday, but would stayed a little longer, to go to Sandringham or other places the owners recommended, apologies there is a quaint little village cant remember what it was called. So will return to visit

dTown was full of takeaways and charity shops. The church was beautiful. Managed to find a shop selling fabric, wool and other craft items, which was a bonus. Plenty of nice countryside around this area.

Holbeach was made all the more interesting because of the guidance of our hosts. We found it well located for a few worthwhile places to visit. Hutchinson beach, Springfield’s.
Also a good choice of neighbouring restaurants - thoroughly enjoyed Chameli Tandoori Restaurant.
Breakfast from the Mansion House Hotel set us for really well for the day ahead.

Ideally located near the Wash the coastal town of Hunstanton is just an hour away with the Royal house of Sandringham a mere 6 miles from Hunstanton. Holbeach itself is a quaint Lincolnshire town with some interesting shops on the high street including Cafe Aurora where any person appreciative of an exquisite ice cream dessert will not leave disappointed. The Anglia hotel, a short drive along the A17, with its collection of Military equipment and large collection of Massey Ferguson tractors is a must for enthusiasts of either genre.

Elloe Lodge is a beautiful old house which has been kept with original features and fitting decor. It's kept very clean and presentable with a very comfy bed and bedding! My room was also very cosy and had a nice selection of teas and coffees. Stephen and Luke were lovely friendly hosts and made a very tasty breakfast! Good location near to the high street of Holbeach too, plenty of parking & was handy to walk to get something to eat and close to my work call the next day. Would be a nice place to stay for a short break too.
A very pleasant hotel. Although being a tall person 6ft 2 inches it was a challenge being in the top floor effectively in the attic with low ceilings. I also banged my head in the cellar where the breakast area was situated and on arrivsl into the Hotel. I would recommend signage there as i gave my head a good whack on a beam and a sign warning would be a good idea.
Incredible hotel for so many reasons, clean, comfortable, really interesting building, good location with an absoultely exceptional breakfast.
Everything you want from a hotel stay plus quirky decoration, beautiful features and the loveliest of hosts, Sam and Richard
Lovely spacious property, very comfortable and clean. Very helpful owners, we managed to leave kids toys there and they were given back to a family member who lives in Holbeach. Thanks so much for the stay, we’ll definitely use again in the future
