The whole facility, including our sleeping room, was well decorated with lots of personal, warm and welcoming touches. It felt like a gracious home with lots of personality and meticulous care to details. Breakfast was exceptional with abundant options of high quality, in a lovely setting.

A visit to the palace of Hillsborough is a must for those interested in history, the arts and / or gardens. The guides are knowledgeable and friendly. There is a lovely shop on site.
We ate in both the Hillside Inn and the Plough. In our view the food and atmosphere in the Plough won out.
The church is also worth a visit and there are some fantastic bakeries in the town.

It is a beautiful town which is very easy to walk round, and eateries are within walking distance which is great if you don't want to drive anywhere. The castle and gardens are also within walking distance. The location is very convenient for getting into Belfast and the Causeway Coastal Drive.

Our room was inviting and extremely comfortable-- there were 3 of us!!
The common rooms were lovely and the breakfast had a variety of offerings. Hillsborough is located in a beautiful area, which i would have liked to explore more. We were in the area for a wedding at a beautiful estate nearby and had a car. Be prepared for very narrow country roads once you get off the highway!! Hillsborough was a terrific respite.

I am a male single parent of a special needs girl aged 32yrs who needs 24/7 supervision and care. We booked and stayed at the homestead for 4 days. I never ever saw such a clean, comfortable, new look, well equipped and tranquil lodgings as this ever before. On arrival we were upgraded to a lovely self contained appartment free. We were also offered unsuppassalble cooking/kitchen facilities which afforded us the ability to produce needed healthy food easily.
The staff here were totally helpful to us yet obtrusive to us offering great privacy. There was lift access for us within the building and we were given assistance beyond the normal assistance with kindness.
Our stay was so enjoyable that my daughter called the homestead her new home and was disappointed when it came to the time for us to leave to go home.
We found the homestead to be easy accessable from the motorway and to our planned destinations.
We would surely love to come to stay at the homestead again.

Able to walk out easily to restaurants shops and pubs. No need to cook unless you really want to. Very central to the town and all the green spaces plus the Royal Hillsborough Castle (book in advance for an interior tour), Hillsborough fort and forest. Loved the light airy feeling in the cottage and the somewhat quirky decoration. Small but comfortable for two people, one double bed only. Two TVs , one in the bedroom one in the living room. Friendly neighbours, pleasant and helpful owner.
Drum Manor is better then any hotel we have ever stayed in!
The hosts are so friendly and their home and surrounding areas are beautiful.
Our room was warm and very comfortable. We were given robes for after our showers and their was a hairdryer in the room, that actually dries her hair! (Girls, you know!)
We will definitely be staying again the next time we're in Belfast!
