I thought the stay was overpriced ..the bathroom was cold, the shower was very noise , the toilet system took forever to fill no privacy in the room unless you closed the curtains as it had large patio doors no net curtains bathroom door catch on the tiles Breakfast poor choice for money .i felt the room should only have costed £100

The room and bathroom were clean and well-maintained—nothing extravagant, but they met my expectations. The breakfast was sufficient for me. Additionally, the place features a fully stocked bar and an Indian restaurant.

One main high street, with a entertainment complex consisting of a couple of restaurants and multi-screen cinema off the main road behind it. There are a lot of empty shopping units on the high street. Pubs wise :
The Royal Exchange - seemed like a locals pub with lots of screens for sport. Quite busy early evening Saturday. Nethergate Ales on. Not sure on food times as no-one was eating but there were sauce bottles about.
Queens Head - oldest pub in Haverhill - appears to be a bit dirty with dusty glasses hanging above the bar. TV for sport but I think its just terrestial no sky etc. No food and Cash Only.
The Bull - easily the best pub with two pool tables and well kept Guinness.
Drabet Smock - Typical Weatherspoons but quiter than most with plenty of tables available. Not many drunks rolling about either,
Nine Jars - it is said to be Haverhills place for the younger people with music and other bits to keep them amused such as a selfie booth. Well all I can say is the young people of Haverhill must have gone into Cambridge that night (saturday) as it was not busy at all - however the music was too loud so we didn't stay.
Anne of Cleeves house worth a walk upto.
Haverhill is a perfect location - just half hour from Newmarket Races, and you can plot a decent route down some narrow lanes to avoid traffic. Not sure what its like on Guineas weekend etc - but on a normal race weekend it was a good choice.

Absolutely dreadful!
AVOID for all conferences!!!
Absolutely dreadful! As a Director within an international Group, this is by far the worst treatment I have ever experienced.
If you are planning a conference…AVOID!

I have already emailed yourself for a refund. I did not stay at the hotel. It was awful, dirty, broken windows, it smelt of body odour. The walls were filthy and washed down. The beds smelt and the whole place was dingy and dirty. Sticky carpets.
Stayed one night, the room was perfect, spotlessly clean and one of the most comfortable beds I have ever had in a hotel.
The grounds were beautifully kept, set in quiet countryside.
Breakfast was freshly cooked and very tasty.
Absolutely 💯 what I wanted somewhere to unwind after hard days work, I didn't want hotel the risk of noise and just don't like hotels this place is Absolutely perfect
