The location was very close to my daughters halls which was great. The staff and the customers at the pub were very friendly and funny and chatty, and the food was lovely. I liked that there was an upstairs outside space for smokers, free WIFI, water and teas and coffees and shampoo etc shops nearby and takeaway next to pub. Good value for money but basic and needs an update. good entertainment, DJ and music. shoer was nice. key card so could come and go.

Lovely staff, food, accommodation. Can walk on bridleway straight up to Plumpton plain on SDW. The food was really good, clearly prepared by people who liked food. Not many provide eggs benedict as an option for breakfast and beautifully presented.

The property is bright and airy. The room was lovely and clean with everything we needed. Slept really well. The shower was a large “rain” shower and was lovely! The staff are very friendly and welcoming. I’ve stayed here many times and it’s always a fabulous stay.
Cute and well fitted out with all necessities for my stay. Good size for 1 or 2 travellers. Once I had the instructions how to get there and for entry, everything was easy. Easy to park. Nice and private and felt safe and secure. Compact yet still with space to move about in. Not too far to the nearest big village (Hassocks) and shops. There is a foot path all the way, so is possible to walk if you wanted (tho bring a torch if it's dark because there's no street lighting near the end).
The cabin was lovely. Situated behind the pub, away from the main road overlooking beautiful scenery. It was small perfect for a couple. Plenty of storage for clothes and a little kitchen if you chose to cook. It was spotlessly clean and in a very quiet location, close to Hassocks train station and on main transport links (there is a bus stop outside the pub). We really enjoyed our visit.
Fantastic location for Lewes, Brighton, and in-between. Cycling and walking,. Very convenient to Hassocks for rail into London.
Fun and cosy for 2. Kitchen/self catering works fine. Internet is work ready.
Very convenient for Pyecombe golf club and Hassocks station. Good instructions, easy to find. Nicely fitted out and easy to warm (very cold during our stay). Bed comfortable.
