Quiet location; excellent for two people; the Booking.com description was accurate; the provision of heating at a cold time of year was very adequate. The kitchen equipment enabled us to cook a couple of dishes for Christmas meals with near - bye family members..We enjoyed the hens and the white duck that had the run of the garden.

The room was cosy and heated up well in February with the radiator and the bathroom underfloor heating was a lovely touch.
The bed was comfy and the place was so quiet.
WiFi also worked great.
The breakfast was brilliant, huge freshly cooked full English with buffet continental. Really friendly staff and a lovely relaxed atmosphere.
Had an excellent value lunch lunch in the Hart Inn.
Had an excellent value lunch lunch in the Hart Inn. Friendly staff. We had walked to the view point at Hartland Point and seen the lighthouse. After lunch we had an interesting visit to Hartland Abbey. Tea and cake in their tearoom. Wonderful part of the world.

Hartland is a lovely village with some small shops, pubs and a cafe. It has easy access to the coast and Bideford is 12 miles away for a big shop. Visit the pottery in the village for some lovely keepsakes to take home as a reminder of your trip.

Hartland is a lovely little village with some local stores and amenities, although bigger shops need a visit to Bideford. It's a great location to explore the countryside and the North Devon coastal path.

A good base to do coastal walks to Clovelly and Hartland Quay. The village itself has pubs for dining, cafe, restaurant and fish and chip shop. Two convenience stores one with Post Office. Hartland Abbey and gardens about a 20 minute walk away using public footpath.
Short drives to Bude, Bideford and Barnstaple.
A good place for stargazing! I actually saw comets during my stay!

Hartland Quay Hotel is wonderful.
Hartland Quay Hotel is wonderful. Donal and Sarah are exceptional host and their team of staff are also first class. My room was bright and had a great view. Breakfast was well cooked with a good selection from the cold buffet. I chose to eat my evening meal in the bar. Food was freshly cooked to order and very tasty. Good selection of drinks are also on offer.. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and intend to go back later in the year. Hartland is a hidden treasure.

What can I say but lovely. 400 year old property brought up to the 21st century, all the quirky bits of old but with all the mod cons of today. Large comfy bedrooms with on suit, quality bedding, furniture that went lovely within the rooms. Ambiance perfect and relaxing. Food excellent, staff lovely and such a lovely little village. Well worth the visit. Everyone I spoke to said the same. 🤗🤗
Val and John are perfect hosts - welcoming, warm and helpful. The room was cosy and well equipped. We were absolutely spoiled with the breakfast, thank you! Friendly, welcoming village with good selection of pubs to finish the day on high after a day of sightseeing. Much recommended
Beautiful cottage in wonderful surroundings hosted by a lovely couple. Situated in a stunning part of Devon this really was a home from home in which to discover some new sights and revisit old haunts. We would definitely consider booking this property again in the future.
Stunning location. The days walk to Hartland Quay was one of most enjoyable in our 3 weeks. Lovely scenery and lots of interesting information boards along the way. Pub was very cosy and the food good. Wish we could have stayed a bit longer
