The room was lovely and the welcome from Linda in dreadful weather was friendly and painless. We had a lovely stay and the breakfast in the morning was brilliant. We would definitely stay again.

The hosts were very welcoming and friendly, the whole bed and breakfast was clean and had everything you could of needed, our room was very spacious, clean and again had everything needed for a fabulous stay. Breakfast next morning was the best we have had from a bb or hotel, we would definitely recommend this gem of a place and myself and partner will definitely return
Lovely little town that is the centre of Britain.
Full of character, great mix of small private businesses and larger chains.
Excellent restaurants and pubs.
Stay here to explore the width of Britain at it's narrowest part.

Haltwhistle was a nice town with enough to see and do.
Haltwhistle was a nice town with enough to see and do. We enjoyed our walk out to Hadrians Wall, despite the lack of sign-posting for walkers in town. It was a shame that shops in town appeared to close early in the afternoon, however being a small town it was to be expected

Haltwhistle is a lovely little town with loads of independent shops as well as a chemist, Co-op and Sainsburys. There are loads of places to eat out in Haltwhistle, we had a lovely evening meal at the Manor House Hotel and Restaurant, with excellent service and delicious food. We also had breakfast at Bonnie's which was really good. People are very friendly and helpful in the town. Don't forget to get the infamous photo at the centre of Great Britain!

Haltwhistle was a great location to access Hadrians wall and the Roman forts , we were there on May bank holiday Sunday and almost all the town was shut up except a couple of restaurants and a co op shop. On BH Monday there was one pub serving food and they had shut the kitchen by 7.15 pm having run out of food. I found the town deserted which was a shame. We ate in Jethros cafe on the Sunday night which was great , lovely food and waitresses , can recommend that cafe.

The town is marketed as being the geometric centre of Great Britain. It may well be. It is ideally situated a short drive from Hexham and roughly midway between Carlisle and Newcastle. It is a small town close to Hadrian's Wall and the associated ancient sites. Nightlife is limited as one might expect from a small town. Well worth a visit.

The hotel is right in the centre of Haltwhistle and a short walk to the train station - we spent an evening in Hexham. Close to Hadrians Wall and roman forts. We enjoyed a lovely meal in the restaurant and the breakfasts were great with a good choice and staff were lovely and friendly and efficient. As we were 2 couples, iIt was great having a self-contained apartment rsther than 2 separate hotel rooms so that we had the communal space of the kitchen and a comfortable lounge.

It was a lovely place to stay away from all the noise as we had been travelling for over 3 weeks prior to reaching Haltwhistle. The room was huge and also the bathroom and we had room to just spread out and relax
Everything was provided. Rear garden was good for the dog. Excellent location for dog walks out the back of property.
Haltwhistle has everything you need with good transport connections.
A really nice hotel. Ideal for walkers and sightseers. The owners and staff could not have been more friendly or efficient. Also the food was excellent.
