Food was very nice. Room was great for us with having dogs as we could go in and out without disturbing anyone and there was a park down the road.

The staff were friendly & the hotel was clean. Food was good with plenty of choice for breakfast. Was a good stopover place for one night.
We had our dog with us & there was a blanket, towel, bowl & a few treats waiting for her.

A really lovely hotel. Food (breakfast and dinner) was amazing (apart from Tart Tatin very soggy pastry). Staff professional, helpful and friendly.

The perfect getaway. Achmeney pod sits 3 miles from Halkirk in a peaceful quiet rural area. The pod is surprisingly bigger than it looks. It comfortably accommodates 2 with a double bedroom, kitchen and living area with its own toilet and shower. The bed was cozy and the pod is well insulated so always nice and warm. On arrival Andrea came and met us and showed us around and how to work the hot tub. ( the hot tub is amazing lol) will definitely recommend to friends and family and will definitely come back again
Location was central for getting to where we wanted to go. Although not much to do/see around Halkirk itself. Staff were all very nice and helpful. Outside are nice for relaxing with a drink. Food was lovely, although for my taste could have done with a couple fish dishes choices other than fish & chips ( very tasty all the same). I believe though that the menu is changed regular so maybe just hit the wrong weekend.
The check in staff were excellent, very efficient and helpful. The evening waiter was also very good and attentive.
Hotel was clean and well presented (unlike all of the other hotels we stayed in for our Scotland trip - which were 'tired' and in need of upgrading).
Breakfast was good with a variety of cooked breakfast options.
We were put in a deluxe lodge instead as our booked accommodation was no longer available. The lodge was part of the nearby Ulbster Arms Hotel also owned by the owners which was fantastic. Food at the hotel was very good.
