Kirkcroft was refreshingly easy to find. The bed was very comfortable and we felt as though we received a superb value. We have already recommended it to others and will continue to do so.

I wanted to be in Bowness area for the location, and this property has the Hadrians Wall Walk right on its doorstep. A traditional English guest house feel, with an owner who was really helpful and outgoing.

We were just here for the night but it was comfortable and clean.

The hotel was lovely we paid extra to upgrade but unfortunately the spa bath was to high and as we are pensioners this was no good a shame really as it was something we wanted in the room. Hotel apart from that was lovely and wish we had booked for an extra night. Food was lovely would definately recommend. Was a 5 minute walk to Gretna Gateway and althought this was a nice place to look around I found it hadnt really changed since i was there 12 years ago. All in all lovely nights stay. Breakfast was plentiful but there was only one waitress serving and our table was not cleared all the time we had breakfast we felt sorry for the waitress as she was run off her feet so maybe an extra person would of helped. Would stay again though

It is just off the motorway. The outlet village is great. It has good rail links. The visitor centre is good for a visit with lots of interesting and quirky sculptures and you might catch a wedding too!

Possibly the best hotel room we've ever stayed in - spacious, clean. Could do with more wi fi sockets-a minor quibble. Had the heaviest duvet I've ever slept under. plenty of storage space. Excellent breakfast.
The location to Gretna Green was ideal for us. The house was a nice size and cozy.
The complimentary treats were a nice touch and also the dog box with towels and poo bags was also very considerate and helpful.
The hosts were very welcoming. They even tell you about the history of Gretna and Gretna Green. Breakfast was good as well. Will deffo stop by here again.
