The staff were incredibly friendly and we received a warm welcome. They were very accommodating, and even provided us with a free room upgrade. Room was clean and well presented with all the essentials including some home made sweet treats. Burns night menu was really lovely, good food, well priced and great service! We also didn’t realise that breakfast was included in the price of the room which was equally as exceptional! Highly recommend and would return!

Grange over Sands has a great promenade to walk along and also a lovely village feel with lots of different shops from local butchers and bakers to exclusive clothing and chocolatiers. There is a great fish and chip shop and a couple of nice pubs to enjoy a drink and food, the Commodore does a lovely Sunday roast dinner. It is also a good central place to explore other towns and villages in easy reach, such as Cartmel and Kendal.

A nice little town with good shops and a good Coop and P.O. The Commodore is a good pub too with rooms. Cartmel is nearby with a famous eaterie if you are interested and it's a good base for exploring the area.

Great base for exploring the Lakes and love the little train station right across the road. It was my second visit to Grange over Sands this year and hope to make many more. With a small town, village feel and the huge expanse of Morecombe bay it has everything I need for a short, refreshing break.

Lovely little village but very little to do other than long walks. Couple of shops and pubs so you would need to assess what you want from visiting Grange over Sands. We did enjoy it and will go back for walking and chill out.

I love Grange and have been regularly visiting relatives here for over 20 years. It’s a very safe, quiet town and I’ve happily walked along the prom alone early mornings. Spoilt for choices food wise with numerous pubs, restaurants and cafes dotted about. A few quirky shops to browse.
People with children may be disappointed there is no access to the sea or sandy beach. But these can be found a short drive away and I’m told guided walks are available across the bay during low tide.

Our host was very friendly and greeted us warmly. We were met in the car park and shown our room.
Breakfast offered us a range of dishes all freshly prepared. We were also able to have breakfast in our room at no extra cost. The hotel is ideally situated near the local bistros and shops.
Our room was very clean and the towels arranged like swans with rose petals on the bed was a lovely surprise.
We would definitely stay at the Grange Boutique again.
Thank you Jackie and Nigel.
We stayed in a penthouse suite which was exceptional! We had the 5 course dinner which was absolutely gorgeous! The staff were so attentive and kind. We even received a free glass of champagne for our anniversary. Breakfast was delicious. The pool was lovely. Every part of the hotel is stunning and grand. We will definitely return.
The hotel is very grand, very clean and the staff work incredibly hard, some undertaking multiple roles in an employment crisis. The breakfast was lovely and as it’s dog friendly she could eat with us in one of the side rooms as dogs are not allowed in the restaurant area.
Beautiful hotel in a great location, we loved the antique style which made it cosy and comfortable. The room was lovely and had everything we needed. The staff were also very friendly and helpful when we needed anything :)
Lovely location to go to Grange Over Sands 10 mins away or Windemere 20 mins away. Lovely quiet area with a hotel and 11 lodges some of which are pet friendly too.
