All the staff were friendly and polite, the food was absolutely fantastic. Our room was very comfortable with plenty of space. The bed was really comfy and most importantly clean and fresh. Glad we had a table booked for dinner the day we arrived as the dining room was full and no spare tables. Easy to see why it was full, everything we had was delicious, and service was attentive. Booked it for the following night after our first experience and wasn't let down, different staff but same high standard.

Very good location, near the main town, but quiet and secluded. Exceptional standard: clean, well-maintained, and extremely hospitable and helpful host. Excellent breakfast and would certainly choose to stay here again if in the vicinity.

My second time staying at Strathview and once again I received a warm and friendly welcome. The room was clean and bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and the view from breakfast room is beautiful.
Lovely place. Secluded and peaceful with lots of walking/cycling places. Quite isolated but within easy reach of places like Glen Clova and Glamis Castle. Definitely a place for a relaxing outdoor holiday away from it all

Even better than advertised.
Even better than advertised. Comfortable accommodations in the perfect country setting. Also convenient to shopping in Forfar that seems like a world away, Beautiful drives to Dunnottar, Edzell and Glamis Castles, Montrose Beach and St. Cyrus NNR, etc. No complaints whatsoever - and we were very sad that our stay was not longer...much longer!
