Glenfinnan House Hotel, hotel in Glenfinnan

Set in Glenfinnan, 100 metres from Glenfinnan Station Museum, Glenfinnan House Hotel offers accommodation with a restaurant, free private parking and a bar.

The style and decoration of the Hotel made it an amazing stay. The halls were super cozy, you could have a drink and relax on a Couch by the chimney, play chess. The room was small but very lovely and had everything. We had dinner and it was very good. The view and location were 100% worth it.

Lochailort Inn, hotel in Lochailort

Situated in Lochailort and with Glenfinnan Station Museum reachable within 16 km, Lochailort Inn features a restaurant, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi throughout the property and a bar.

Tricky one to review, as we paid in full in advance, but didn't stay - Storm Ashley's effect was to cancel our near-ish Mallaig Ferry, and CalMac ferries moved our departure down-coast to an Oban, at understandably short notice. Lochailort's refunds policy is they require two weeks' notice of cancellation, which they politely affirmed upon declining a refund (which we're seeking from CalMac who caused our problem.)

Amazing hosts, stunning views, great comfort! We loved small details that made our stay special such as beautifully served (and plentiful) breakfast with a view, homemade cake awaiting us after a day-long journey, small treats in the room etc. The room and bathroom are spacious, cozy and well equipped. The location is great by itself but also to discover the region. Hosts were just amazing and recommended us routes / things to do. We loved everything!

Garrison Cells, hotel in Fort William

Featuring a bar, Garrison Cells is located in Fort William in the Highlands region, 2.4 km from Glen Nevis and 16 km from Loch Linnhe.

Stayed in one of the cell style rooms great prices and is to be what I expected, staff were friendly and couldn't fault them on anything were attentive and helpful with questions and requests. I'm a Hotel Manager myself and from going to hotel to hotel I would recommend this for anyone in the Fort William area. The rooms I seen where modern and tidy. The atmosphere in the Bar was lovely and drinks were reasonably priced. The addition of the coffee machine in the bar was a nice touch and helped me to get a drink to take out to the cold.

Location was perfect. Host was particularly accommodating and communication was excellent. Layout great with bedrooms downstairs and living updstairs. Facilities were great - ie staple foods provided and details thought about. Would be spectacular in the winter. Close to Glenfinnan Viaduct and coffee cart across the road.

We loved that everything you could possibly want in the form of facilities and provisions were there. It is a very homely and rustic lodge. A skip and a hop to the train station where the Jacobite train comes and a wonderful scenic walk to the Glenfinnan Viaduct (Harry Potter fans) and the Bonnie Prince Memorial.
