Beautiful property with excellent rooms. We ate dinner at the restaurant that has wonderful views of the lake. The food was delicious and the wait staff were wonderful and accommodating. The buffet breakfast spread was large and most items were very tasty.
This hotel has a stunning setting in the shadow of the Pap of Glencoe and surrounded by the beautiful Ardgour Hills. It offers rooms with homemade cookies, free Wi-Fi and free parking.

Location was perfect for what we needed. Easy to see Glencoe, Ben Nevis and down to Oban. Water was always hot, lodge was private and quiet. We loved it. Amazing gluten free option for breakfast. We were very impressed.

The historic aspect and location. The bed frame was amazing. The bath was lovely and the heated floor was so nice. It was quiet and easy to come and go. The towels were thick and large. The windows open so it was easy to cool the room and also easy to heat the room with the radiator. They had hangers and a rod to hang clothes as well as places to store shoes. Water, tea and coffee (not instant) were provided. A kettle and French press were provided too along with some tasty cookies. The location is perfect for hiking around the Three Sisters and going to the Visitors Center. It’s not a far drive from Ft William and Ben Nevis either. There’s a Coop down the road for getting snacks. The view of our loch from our window was breathtaking.

I loved passing through Glencoe for sightseeing from the car, catching a sunset on an evening hike. The parking in Glencoe is very limited so makes it annoying, but it is beautiful I would only pass through...

Glencoe has a very small downtown, but the real draw is the beautiful country side surrounding it which is absolutely stunning. We would recommend a visit to the Glencoe visitor center which has a nice cafe, shop and a movie room which is worth attending (20 minute video on Glencoe and its fascinating history) - a great primer for your subsequent explorations of the beautiful countryside.

Glencoe is outstanding to visit. Many walks, many views.
Glencoe is outstanding to visit. Many walks, many views. We spent £17.50 each on the chairlift up the Glencoe mountain. All other walks, views, attractions we attended were free. I was fascinated by the history. The Glencoe massacre. Water, mountains, woodlands.
There is nothing to not like.
We went to Steall Waterfall, Three Sisters, Glencoe mountain resort, visitor centre, Glencoe monument and stopped at numerous viewpoints everywhere.

We spent 2 days in Glen Coe, in the heart of the mountains, outside of Fort William. Arriving from the south we had a fabulous drive through the height of the mountains, and enjoyed the Glen Coe visitor center for their historical displays, gift shop and recommendations re local hiking trails, and places to eat.
We appreciated that this is a very undeveloped, yet stunningly beautiful area with just the right amount of places to see and enjoy for a 2 day stay if you like an leisurely experience re all that an area has to offer.
Just beyond the area, be sure to take the Gondola ride to the top of Ben Nevis, Scotland's highest mountain. There is a good cafe at the top to take in the views, see mountain bikers ride the trails and take a walk on nearby paths.

After a really friendly personal welcome from Tony and Mairi, we settled into what is a luxurious studio, with great thought given to its design and decoration. The bathroom was amazing with an enormous rolltop bath as well as a very efficient shower. It was a cosy spot for the two of us and well equipped for a couple.
It only rained occasionally, so we were able to enjoy the glorious view over a coffee outside on the terrace.
We felt spoiled with the choice of possible hot drinks and chocolates placed around (there’s a nespresso machine and cafetière).
The studio was spotlessly clean.
We eat in at nights with the help of the microwave (there are rings to cook on too) only because I was too tired ! But we followed up our hosts’ recommendation of The View at Stalker Castle for a very nice coffee, soup and salad in a great spot down the coast a bit. Really though, loads of places to eat about, including the hotels 20-30 mins walk away via the cycle track. Another reason to return!

We stopped at Glencoe on the way back from the islands.
We stopped at Glencoe on the way back from the islands. As non-climbers, 24 hours was perfect to stop by the visitor centre and take in the views. The vistas are truly stunning and the national trust visitor centre is terrific - we had a lovely coffee there. It’s the most touristy place we visited on our trip, so I was glad our visit was relatively brief—but it really is a must see.

Just the view, nothing else, I have come on holiday w my partner, booked three hotels , two are amazing but this one does not have enough breakfast options, dinner was very expensive not worth it food wasn't good, no drinking water was there in the room...just not good to stay we have paid more than we paid for the other hotel
Loved the manager Grant who was professional and friendly. I had my engagement dinner her with my fiancée whilst staying in the hotel and he made it extra special.
Hotel had a very historic vibe with pretty scenery. The two receptionists were very friendly
If your staying I would recommend the restaurant as its delicious.
Hotel is in a beautiful location although I would say you will benefit from a car (we relied on buses which were ok). The hotel was really clean and very very cozy. Views were beautiful. Dinner band breakfast both nights were absolutely delicious and so filling. Staff were amazingly friendly.
Lovely, clean room. Very accommodating for myself and dog. Got a lovely tour around the hotel, and shown to our rooms. My dog was adored and very well looked after, water was offered to him at dinner and breakfast. Would go back.
Very cute hotel with an outdoor terasse overlooking the river and montains. Nice room and very friendly staff. The food was realy good both breakfast & dinner.
