Thank you - we thoroughly enjoyed our stay - from the most delicious food, to the extremely friendly and helpful staff , thank you for making our stay relaxing and enjoyable. The room was clean and tidy and the bed/ bedding very comfortable. The location and view outstanding. On arrival we found the room to be made up as twins, when a double room was booked , we were quickly given complimentary drinks, while staff remade the bed, many thanks.

This bed and breakfast is stunning and sits on a beautiful, serene property. I couldn’t have chose anything more perfect. The house is beautifully decorated, the rooms are large and the bed was so comfortable! Leslie was an inviting host with great attention to detail. Our breakfast was delicious and started our day off just right. Great vistas of the water too. This is a great place to stay if traveling the John Muir Way. We highly recommend and look forward to coming back again. Be sure to enjoy the large, old Sequioa tree on property - while it’s young in terms of Sequioa’s, it’s majestic. The location was wonderful. The countryside was lovely. A little waterfall right outside too. Nice walk to the waterfront.

Needs more info on parking facilities for guests. We managed to park across the road from the pub but weren't sure if we could park outside the rooms or not.
Breakfast was disappointing in the pub.
Wished we had had more time to check out the area but our ferry was delayed so we arrived late. To their credit the chef waiting for us to arrive so we could have an evening meal though.

The Anchor was clean and welcoming. the staff were lovely and nothing was too much trouble. Food was tasty and freshly cooked. We did not bother to go anywhere else to eat.
It is a good location for exploring the area around Loch Lomond.

I enjoyed the road from Tarbet to Garelochhead and our stay at the Anchor Inn. The spot may not be the nicest but our evening/night was really nice staying at the Anchor Inn after a good walk in the Highlands.

Garelochhead is not a place you would think of as being suitable for tourism, but it is nice and quiet despite there being a naval base close by. It is ideally located for exploring the wonderful Scottish countryside.

First time at this hotel. What a hidde gem. Staff lovely. Special mention to Chris the bartender who made us feel so special on our 25th wedding Anniversary by suprising us with prosecco with our breakfast. He is a credit to your hotel, not because of the gift but the night before he made us and other guests so welcome. Our room was lovely, great comfy bed. Food very good, breakfast options good and with perfect poached eggs. We will be back!
We chose this place because of the location. Garelochhead is situated near Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park, and also ideal to make walks arround Loch Long and Loch Goil.
The room was quite small, but quiet. We had breakfast and dinner in the Inn and it was ok.
The staff was very friendly and helpfull
The hotel is located in a beautiful and quiet village on loch side, with beautiful views and landscapes, 20 minutes drive from loch Lomond, with a good restaurant and pub, with free street side parking.
