The team at Dolphin are second to no other pub/acommodation, they are simply fabulous.
I stayed at the Dolphin for a week, as I was travelling from Hong Kong, and was sad to leave them all at the end of the week.
The pub atmosphere was, as one would hope, was like a comforting home. There was great chat at the bar and the food was off the chart good, and superb value for money.
I can not recommend the Dolphin highly enough.

The hotel is actually at Yattendon a few miles from Frilsham and as I stayed overnight in winter I didn't see Frilsham.
As I used to live not that far away I knew the Royal Oak had a good reputation.
