Beautiful location. Lovely clean rooms. Fresh milk for tea. Honesty bar. Good food although limited menu at night. Friendly staff. Breakfast staff and kitchen staff were amazing. It's just what a pub should be. No glaring lights or rowdy music. Beautiful views from terrace. Sadly had to cut holiday short due to illness.

I would recommend not staying in the middle of town, there is a tiny road and no parking except on the fridge. Foweys Landing was on the fringe with a parking area out the front, perfect. yet a short walk to town. The Ship Inn Pub was great good pub food and good atmsosphere.

Fowey is a great little town with a number of places to eat, drink and shop. The hills are not for the faint hearted but will get you fit! It is very near to the Eden Project and The Gardens of Heligan - both worth a visit.

Very pleasantly surprised by Fowey.
Very pleasantly surprised by Fowey. We stayed only for one night. Very pretty location, quaint and not too busy. We dined and stayed over at The King which was fantastic. Quite a few local shops of interest to browse through. Beautiful sea views too.

I like Cornwall and all the quaint, quirky small towns with narrow streets and steps, you can't beat the scenery and the wonderful rural lanes or the crowds of summer tourists and the summer tourist prices everywhere, especially when eating out !

Loved the look of the place - a very imposing building in the heart of Fowey - with superb views of the river.
I liked the cosy feel you get - as soon as we walked in. Great trendy bar area - with elevated views - and great staff. Whats not to miss here is the food - sure there is breakfast - but we ate here is the evening also - and this really is an exceptional place to eat. Great menu - beautifully presented with an air of fine dining about it. I'm vegan - and it was great that there was something there for me!
Ours was a full 2 bedroom cottage in this large hotel property. Grounds are lush green and well maintained. The cottage was clean, all appliances kept, kitchen with utensils. Car parking was just near to our cottage.
We could not use the spa and swimming facilities because of our schedule but the facilities at the main reception area looked good including the bar.
It was a good breakfast especially as we are vegetarians.
Great cooking facilities, lovely view of the harbour, a minute's walk from the nearest restaurants and pubs, great decor and lots of comfy chairs. Be warned that a degree of fitness is required as Fowey is essentially one big hill, the apartment is at the bottom and the car park is at the top. We managed fine but elderly guests may struggle a bit.
Fabulous location on the Fowey Estuary with a short walk into town. We stayed in a deluxe sea view room (109) which was worth the money, the view was amazing! We also ate at the hotel for dinner, had afternoon tea and had breakfast included and the food was all amazing. The staff are so friendly and we look forward to returning.
