The accommodations are outstanding. There is plenty of parking if you have a vehicle. The property is incredibly well kept and exceptionally clean. The full Scottish breakfast was a perfect way to start each day, and the restaurant’s chef prepared a fantastic menu for dinner as well! Having a few pints and a good scotch selection was a definite plus. You feel like you are stepping back in time in the best way possible. The staff is incredible and made our stay one to truly remember. Stuart is an absolute gem, and had the best recommendations for things to do and see in the area. The staff truly treats you like you are part of the family. There are lovely walks to take and the gardens on and near the hotel are gorgeous. This was by far and away the best hotel experience I’ve had in my life, and my wife and I can’t wait to come back someday. Staying at the historic Ramnee hotel was worth every penny!

If I could give this an 11 I would. The room was super comfortable , private, quiet, spotless, great bed with an incredible bathing area. The owners were more than friendly;they made us feel welcome and genuinely cared. After several days when we needed to leave VERY early to travel Graham met us personally at 6 am to help us with our bags. Breakfast was served family style… this was a true inn. The area is just far enough from a small town to give the feeling of staying in a real Scottish estate. If you’re going to the Speyside area, this should be your first choice.

I can’t say enough positive things about the lovely Lily Cottage. It was spotlessly clean, well appointed and has everything that one would need for a fantastic holiday in Findhorn. Pub, Bakehouse, Hotel, Cafe and beaches all within walking distance. Parked my car for the duration of the stay. Didn’t need it. The cottage is finished to a high standard and beautifully furnished.

Forres is one of the best, nicest towns along the Moray Firth coast. There are still independent shops and beautiful well-kept green park areas. It has a Victorian heritage.
There are a number of pubs with nice areas to sit out in.
Forres is also well-connected for road, rail and air links. It forms a good base for exploring or for business visits.

This a little hotel above The Hearth restaurant, the rooms and small but clean and tidy. the evening meal downstairs in the restaurant was amazing and worth the visit just for that alone. Breakfast was equally as nice and everthying cooked fressh to order with local produce.
Staff are very nice and welcoming with nothing being too much trouble.
I would definitely recommend The Old Mill Inn if you are in the area.
Lovely clean apartment conveniently situated right in the heart of Forres,so plenty shops and restaurants around. Good communication with host and easy entry to property. Nice to have kitchen essentials such as washing up liquid and kitchen roll.
From start to finish everything was perfect.
The owners contacted me quickly after booking to introduce themselves.
Forget an expensive hotel, book this private on suite room in driving distance to Inverness and Elgin.
I'll be staying again.
What a cracking hotel for the money . Greeted with a smile and a warm welcome from the moment I arrived. Great bunch of locals in the bar and a great atmosphere. Would highly recommend
