Very clean room and great breakfast. Despite a storm outside the room was quiet and we slept well.
Car park seemed full but there were no problems parking. There was a bar but we did not use it and we did not eat there at night so no comments on these aspects (but all looked nice)

very warm and comfortable and in a great location. We stayed here before going to Brechin so didn't have much time to explore Montrose but I think we'll come back for a weekend just to see the local area.

The location was spectacular, the accommodation was quirky. It gave you both countryside and sea views.
Ferryden is a quiet neighbourhood, well placed for visiting...
Ferryden is a quiet neighbourhood, well placed for visiting the Montrose Basin wildlife centre and with easy access to the wider Angus area. There are walks locally and easy access to the beach. The village is compact, but lacks places to eat out, so a (reasonable) walk, drive or bus journey to Montrose is necessary.
