The Bull is in a really good location, it's a quirky old building with loads off little rooms shooting off from the main bar area. The bar area is quite small but functional. We had an evening meal which was very nice, the steak was delicious. Our room was nice, quite compact (a small double) but fine for what we needed. The Bull appeared to be the only pub open in Fairford so the bar was quite busy.

Anne is incredible. We had a very difficult journey from CA and continued to have issues with a car, and Anne was there supporting us through the whole thing. She is the best! I feel like I have a new friend!

we came to see the stained glass in the church, which I had long wanted to see; it was magnificent and we very much appreciated the highly informed commentary from the guide, Margaret.
We also very much enjoyed the town, which is beautiful, and our stay in the Bull. A memorable visit which we highly recommend.

It’s a beautiful and unique part of the uk.
It’s a beautiful and unique part of the uk. I think the standard of food and general excellence has declined since the last time we were here in 2019 . I think brexit and Covid has put enormous pressure on tourism. And the standards have dropped. As a Consequence . The bull hotel was lovely and the staff were nice. I’m talking generally about the uk. We visited a few hotels in England and Scotland and our experience was the same .

A small town but full of character.
A small town but full of character. St Mary’s church is wonderful with such a helpful church steward who was so informative. I would have used Fairford as a base to discover other towns and places of interest in the area. We ate at the Bull Inn and at a local coffee shop, Lynwoods

We were moved from the room we booked due to a water leak. The room we were moved too was lovely with a huge bathroom to include a double shower and roll top bath. The staff were all very pleasant and happy to help.
Breakfast was included in our booking and was very nice.
We booked a table for our evening meal which again was a lovely position and the food was very nice although we couldn’t manage a pudding.
A beautiful character property.

Fairford was our base for 3 nights from which it was ideal to tour the Cotswolds. We should have booked a longer stay as 4 days isn't enough as there are so many lovely places to visit. We ate every evening in The Bull Hotel and the food was very good.
